This position works closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure manufacturing processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with customer specifications.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong CNC programming experience, expertise in sheet metal fabrication, and the ability to develop machine-ready programs that maximize productivity, quality, and material utilization.\nKey Responsibilities\nCreate, modify, and optimize CNC programs for laser cutting, punching, bending, and other fabrication equipment.\nInterpret engineering drawings, CAD models, blueprints, and customer specifications to develop manufacturing programs.\nUtilize nesting software to maximize material utilization and minimize scrap.\nGenerate machine-ready programs and verify program accuracy prior to production release.\nCollaborate with Engineering and Production teams to improve manufacturability and reduce cycle times.\nTroubleshoot programming and machine operation issues to minimize downtime and production delays.\nMaintain program libraries, revision control processes, and documentation standards.\nSupport first-article inspections and production validation activities.\nAnalyze manufacturing processes and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.\nAssist with machine setup requirements and tooling selection.\nEnsure programming standards comply with quality requirements and customer specifications.\nProvide technical support and training to CNC machine operators as needed.\nFollow all safety procedures, policies, and operational standards.\nSuccess Measures\nMaintain a first-pass program approval rate of 98% or higher.\nAchieve material yield targets through effective nesting and optimization practices.\nImprove machine cycle times and overall manufacturing throughput.\nMaintain scrap and rework rates below established quality targets.\nEnsure programs are completed and released according to production schedules.\nImplement process improvements that result in measurable productivity gains.\nMaintain full compliance with safety requirements and achieve zero safety violations or incidents.\nQualifications\nRequired\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMinimum of 3 years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment.\nProficiency with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming systems.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and technical specifications.\nExperience programming CNC laser cutting equipment, press brakes, punch presses, or similar fabrication equipment.\nStrong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and manufacturing methods.\nKnowledge of tooling, machine setup requirements, and production workflow.\nExcellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP/MRP systems.\nPreferred\nTechnical degree or certification.\nAssociate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.\nExperience with nesting software such as SigmaNEST, TruTops, BySoft, or similar platforms.\nExperience programming Amada, Trumpf, Mazak, or comparable CNC equipment.\nLean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement experience.\nAPICS, SME, or other manufacturing-related
