This position requires mechanical aptitude, blueprint reading skills, accurate measurements, and safe handling of heavy materials in a production environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nSet up and operate CNC plasma cutters, beam drill lines, and angle lines.\n\nRead structural steel blueprints, shop drawings, and work orders.\n\nUse overhead cranes and rigging equipment to load, position, and secure steel beams, plates, and other materials.\n\nMonitor machine operation and adjust settings to maintain accuracy and product quality.\n\nMeasure finished components using tape measures, calipers, squares, and other precision measuring tools.\n\nMake basic programming edits and adjust machine settings for different material sizes and thicknesses.\n\nPerform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshoot basic machine issues.\n\nFollow OSHA and shop safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.\n\nQualifications\nAt least 2 years of CNC machine operation experience, preferably in structural steel fabrication or heavy manufacturing.\n\nAbility to read and interpret structural steel blueprints and shop drawings.\n\nExperience using precision measuring tools, including calipers, squares, and tape measures.\n\nStrong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.\n\nHigh school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school training preferred.\n\nAbility to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced production environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nOperating overhead cranes and forklifts.\n\nKnowledge of rigging and safe material-handling practices.\n\nCompensation & Schedule\nStarting base pay of $24.00/hour;
