The standard shift is 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM IST.\nWhat you'll be doing\nOwn engineering execution including delivery, quality, and team health for a backend-heavy product team\nRun hiring: define roles, lead interviews, make calibrated offers\nDrive performance management: clear expectations, regular feedback, and growth plans\nPartner with product and clinical stakeholders to scope work and keep commitments\nContribute to system architecture decisions and hold the technical bar across the team\nRemove blockers, reduce friction, and keep the team moving with focus\nRequired skills\nStrong hands-on background in Python/Django, React, and AWS\nSystems thinker: can reason about distributed systems, failure modes, scalability, and long-term design tradeoffs\nTrack record managing engineers in a product company - shipping features, not just maintaining processes\nStrong communicator: written and verbal, up to leadership and across to peers\nOrganized under ambiguity - can manage multiple workstreams without losing detail\nNice to have\nBackground in healthcare, compliance-heavy, or data-sensitive domains\nExposure to AI-assisted development tooling and how it changes team velocity\nQualifacts is an equal opportunity employer.
