The standard shift is 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM IST.\nSummary of the Manager, Engineering\nWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Development Manager to lead our product development team in India. We are looking for a leader with a strong technical and architectural background who can actively contribute to technical design and architecture decisions while guiding the team toward building scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including .NET Developers, Database Developers, QA, and other stakeholders, to ensure successful delivery of high-quality software solutions. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in Microsoft technologies, AWS, AI-enabled development, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and web.\nResponsibilities for the Manager, Engineering\nLead and mentor a diverse team of full stack developers in an Agile/Scrum environment \nCollaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define and prioritize product features and enhancements \nContribute to technology roadmap and modernization initiatives \nDrive the software development process from planning, design, and development to testing, deployment, and maintenance \nLead the use of AI-powered development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) to improve code quality, accelerate development, and enhance team productivity \nEncourage continuous evaluation and adoption of emerging AI technologies to optimize workflows and reduce manual effort. \nEnsure that the team follows best practices, coding standards, and quality guidelines to deliver robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions \nMonitor project progress and provide regular status updates to senior management and stakeholders \nWork closely with the US-based teams to align development efforts with the overall company strategy and vision \nPerform people management duties, and provide mentorship that encourages a culture of continuous learning and improvement\nQualifications of the Manager, Engineering\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field \n10+ years of experience in software development, with extensive expertise in Microsoft technologies, 5+ years leading engineering teams. \nProven track record of successfully leading and managing large development teams (15+ members) in an Agile/Scrum environment \nExperience in AWS Cloud Services \nDemonstrable familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and ability to integrate them into team workflows \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities of the Manager, Engineering\nExperience building scalable, high-performance SaaS systems\nStrong knowledge of database query development, with hands-on experience in SQL Server \nFamiliarity with observability tools such as New Relic\nExperience with microservices architecture \nExcellent communication skills \nAbility to work collaboratively across teams, cultures, and time zones to achieve project goals and meet deadlines \nCapable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision \nExpertise in API design, and integration patterns \nLeadership Profile\nThis role requires:\nTechnical credibility \nStrong delivery orientation \nArchitectural discipline \nSecurity awareness \nClear executive communication \nCultural leadership \nGrowth mindset \nQualifacts is an equal opportunity employer.
