Don't miss the opportunity to grow professionally, with ample training opportunities and the chance to make a meaningful impact.\nResponsibilities\nKnowledge of electrical distribution system design engineering standards, practices, and regulatory requirements.\n\nAbility to apply client, industry, and regulatory standards and requirements to existing distribution system components.\n\nSupports the Engineering Manager by handling some of the project assignments and managing project performance and customer relationships for the distribution team.\n\nProblem identification and resolution.\n\nUtilize software such as Distribution Design Studio, Pole Foreman, Design Manager, WMS, and/or AutoCAD in the preparation of project design packages.\n\nReview of completed designs and design products to ensure compliance with client, industry, and regulatory requirements.\n\nReview of design products to ensure compliance with quality and consistency expectations.\n\nAbility to effectively communicate with internal, client, and regulatory counterparts.\n\nAbility to maintain production in a changing environment.\n\nIdentify and promote training opportunities.\n\nMinimum Qualifications\nAA/AS Degree or 2 years of formal post-high school specialized trade (technical school/certifications) preferred.\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering required to qualify for an Engineer title; candidates without a bachelor's degree can be considered for a Technician-level role based on experience. \n\n3-5+ years' experience in Utility Distribution design using Design Manager, Pole Foreman, AutoCAD, or similar software.\n\nMicrosoft Office product application.\n\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nStrong commitment to customer service and client care.\n\nAbility to work with a variety of projects and deadlines.\n\nExcellent document management and organizational skills.\n\nStrong attention to detail.\n\nBenefits & CompensationQualus benefits offered include Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short and Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays, for those who qualify.\nThe final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
