This role owns complex cross-functional initiatives, drives engineering best practices, mentors engineers, and partners with architecture and product teams to improve reliability, scalability, and customer experience.\nWHERE THIS ROLE SITS\nPartners with Engineering, Infrastructure, DevOps, Cloud Operations, Database Engineering, Security, Product Engineering, Customer Support, and Executive Leadership.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nReliability & Incident Management\n· Lead enterprise-wide critical incident response and serve as Incident Commander.\n· Own end-to-end restoration strategy for complex production outages.\n· Drive executive communications and customer-impact assessments.\n· Lead root cause analysis and systemic reliability improvements.\nReliability Engineering & Automation\n· Design self-healing platforms and automation.\n· Improve observability, SLOs, SLIs, and error budgets.\n· Reduce MTTD and MTTR through engineering improvements.\nOperational Excellence\n· Lead capacity planning and operational readiness.\n· Review architecture for reliability and scalability.\n· Drive cross-functional operational standards.\nLeadership & Collaboration\n· Mentor Senior and Lead SREs.\n· Drive SRE strategy and reliability roadmap.\n· Influence engineering priorities and reliability culture.\nWHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE\n· Drives measurable improvements in availability and degree or equivalent.\n· 8-12+ years in SRE/Production Operations.\n· Strong Linux, Kubernetes, Cloud, Networking and Databases.\n· Expertise in Python, Go, Bash or Java.\n· Experience leading major incidents and mentoring engineers.\n· Excellent communication and leadership skills.\nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS\n· Large-scale SaaS experience\n· Multi-cloud expertise\n· Chaos Engineering\n·
