Qualys helps organizations streamline and consolidate their security and compliance solutions in a single platform and build security into digital transformation initiatives for greater agility, better business outcomes, and substantial cost savings.\nAs a Salesforce Senior Principal Application Developer, you should have around 12-16 years of experience and a good understanding of the Salesforce platform end to end.\nKey Responsibilities:\nOwn the technical design and architecture of complex Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ/Revenue Cloud and Experience Cloud.\nLead hands-on development in Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL and Flows, and act as the escalation point for the hardest technical problems.\nDesign scalable integrations with ERP, billing, marketing and data platforms using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Change Data Capture and middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi).\nSet and enforce coding standards, design patterns (trigger frameworks, separation of concerns), code review practices and security best practices.\nWork with architects, product owners and business stakeholders to turn requirements into technical designs and estimates.\nMentor and grow a team of senior and mid-level developers through reviews, pairing and knowledge-sharing sessions.\nAssess new Salesforce releases and features and recommend how to adopt them.\nReduce technical debt, and lead org health reviews, refactoring and platform optimization.\nAnalyze business and technical requirements, providing actionable feedback on specifications, design, and integration flows.\nActively engage in Agile ceremonies and support cross-functional collaboration to drive efficient project delivery.\nDesired Skills & Experience:\nExpert knowledge of Apex, Lightning Web Components, Aura, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL and asynchronous Apex.\nExperience with Flow automation at scale, including knowing when to use Flow and when to use Apex.\nDeep experience with the Salesforce data model, the sharing and security model.\nProven integration experience: REST/SOAP APIs, Named Credentials, OAuth, Platform Events, Streaming API and Bulk API.\nExperience with version control systems such as Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).\nTrack record of delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce programs in Agile/Scrum environments.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.\nSoft Skills & Collaboration:\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage cross-functional stakeholders and end users.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.\nStrong analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.\nA mentoring mindset, with a commitment to growing developers and building a strong engineering culture.\nOwnership and accountability for delivery quality, production stability and stakeholder commitments.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s or master’s, degree in computer science, Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).\n12-16 years of software development experience, with at least 8+ years building on the Salesforce platform.\nExperience with Sales, Service, Marketing, Experience, and/or CPQ Clouds.\nDemonstrated ability to stay current with Salesforce platform updates and innovations.\nActive involvement in the Salesforce community is a plus.\nWork Location:\nThe position is based at our U.S. headquarters, with in-office presence required in accordance with company policy.\n*****************************************************************************************************************\nThe salary range for this position is $175,000 - $200,000 per year. Final compensation will be determined based on several factors, including but not limited to skills, relevant experience, and work location. Please note this range reflects base salary and does not include incentive compensation or potential equity grants.
