Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Software Engineer to join the Qualys next-generation Platform team. We are looking for an engineer who can take end-to-end ownership of software features throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - from understanding requirements and participating in design, through development, automation, release validation, deployment, and production support. This role combines software development and automation engineering. The candidate is expected to design and develop scalable backend services while also taking strong ownership of test automation, integration validation, regression coverage, and release quality. The ideal candidate is someone who thinks beyond simply developing code or executing test cases. They should be able to build the feature, understand its dependencies, build comprehensive automation around it, troubleshoot issues across the stack, and ensure the feature is production-ready.
