You will play a critical role in helping customers integrate these solutions into their environments and derive maximum value aligned with their cybersecurity goals.\nThis role involves hands-on implementation, technical consulting, and driving customer success in hybrid, cloud, and containerised environments.\nThis is a Global role, so you may be working across different shifts(including Night shifts) supporting Customers across multiple timezones.\nWe work in Hybrid mode (3 days from office, 2 days from home) Relocation to Pune would be required for the role.\nKey Responsibilities\nCustomer Onboarding & Enablement\nLead end-to-end onboarding for enterprise customers on multiple Qualys Cyber Security products\nConduct kickoff sessions, product walkthroughs, and configuration workshops tailored to customer needs.\nAlign solution deployment/configuration/optimisation withcustomer business goals, security policies, and compliance requirements.\nTechnical Implementation\nAssist with the deployment and configuration of Qualys agents, sensors, connectors, and APIs across cloud, on-prem, and hybrid environments.\nSupport secure integration with AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and containerized platforms such as Kubernetes, Docker, and CRI-o.\nProvide expertise in asset discovery, patch deployment, vulnerability scanning, and policy configuration.\nCustomer Success & Adoption\nAct as a trusted technical advisor throughout the implementation phase, ensuring successful adoption and long-term retention.\nEducate and guide customers on platform capabilities, security use cases, and best practices.\nDesign and manage onboarding plans, training sessions, and success criteria tracking.\nCross-functional Collaboration\nPartner with internal teams including Product Management, Support, and Engineering to resolve implementation challenges and shape future enhancements.\nCollect feedback to inform product development and improve onboarding frameworks.\nRequired Qualifications\nExperience & Technical Skills\n5+ years in customer-facing technical roles (e.g., onboarding, professional services, customer success, pre-sales, or support).\nHands-on experience in enterprise IT environments, with working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and basic networking concepts.\nExposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI)\nFamiliarity with cybersecurity principles, vulnerability management, compliance frameworks, and threat detection tools.\nTooling & Platform Knowledge\nAbility to deploy and manage endpoint agents, connectors, and policy configurations across diverse systems.\nExperience in working with security scanning tools, configuration baselines, patch rollouts, and dashboards.\nCommunication & Interpersonal Skills\nExceptional communication, presentation, and client engagement skills.\nProven ability to simplify complex topics for technical and non-technical stakeholders alike.\nMindset & Adaptability\nAnalytical thinker with problem-solving orientation.\nFlexible working schedule, as role requires\nAble to work independently and manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously.\nCollaborative and empathetic approach to building customer relationships.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior experience with Qualys platform (as an end-user, consultant, or sales engineer).\nUnderstanding of IT asset management, configuration compliance, and security operations workflows.\nExposure to container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, CRI-o).","description_format":"text","description_chars":3813,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["Flexible schedule","Hybrid work"],"hiring_locations":[{"name":"India","iso":"IN","kind":"country"}],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":true,"industries":["Cybersecurity","Endpoint Security","Information Security"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-30T20:10:32Z"}],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":54,"reasons":["conf:8","win:early","comp:brand"],"computed_at":"2026-10-01T05:07:14Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/qualys-technical-implementation-engineer-2","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/qualys-technical-implementation-engineer-2.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-01T05:07:14Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4799,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":201,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z"}}}
