We're hiring the engineers who keep it running, around the clock.\nThe role\nEach shift has a Senior SRE as its senior technical anchor. You'll own the end-to-end reliability of our production environment while you're on shift. That environment includes OP-stack services, a private Hyperledger Besu L1, Paladin nodes, the Overledger Gateway, the Audit Store and the Settlement Bridge. You'll report to the Platform Reliability Technical Lead and work as part of a fully US-based team. There is no offshore handoff anywhere in the incident path.\nWhat you'll do\nAct as the senior technical escalation point for your shift.\n\nOwn observability, SLO instrumentation and error-budget tracking for your assigned production components.\n\nLead incident response on shift, and drive post-incident hardening so issues don't recur.\n\nJoin joint bridges with Security Operations on combined security-and-availability events.\n\nMentor SREs on your shift, and set the standard for runbook discipline and clean shift handovers.\n\nWhat you'll bring\n6+ years in SRE, DevOps or production engineering.\n\nStrong cloud, infrastructure-as-code and observability tooling experience.\n\nExperience operating blockchain/DLT infrastructure is a strong advantage. That covers node operations, consensus and settlement systems.\n\nWillingness to work a rotating 24/7 shift schedule.\n\nHow we'll measure success\nAvailability against SLOs.\n\nIncident recurrence rate.\n\nQuality of handovers between shifts.\n\nCompensation and benefits\nBase salary: $95,000 – $130,000, depending on experience and skills.\n\nAnnual Discretionary Company Bonus\n\nThis role is overtime-eligible.\n\n401(k) retirement plan.\n\nMedical, dental and vision coverage.\n\nPTO of up to 18 days per annum.\n\nAnnual Personal Development allowance.\n\nStart date: January 2027\nQuant is an equal opportunity employer.
