Helicopters is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Accountant. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the financial health of the company by performing general ledger accounting duties, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and supporting overall business operations. This role requires a working understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement. This role is a unique opportunity including exposure to multi-state projects, aviation, and public company financial controls.\nWhat You'll Do\nGeneral Ledger Management: Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness.\nFinancial Reporting: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP and company policies.\nAccounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoicing, payment processing, and collections.\nBudgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, providing insights and recommendations based on financial analysis.\nCompliance: Ensure compliance with government and parent company financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
