This role assists with project scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and quality assurance while helping ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with established standards.\nWhat You'll Do\nKey Responsibilities\nProject Planning & Coordination\nAssist in developing project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, schedules, and resource requirements.\nSupport the identification and allocation of labor, materials, and other resources necessary for successful project execution.\nHelp assign tasks, establish expectations, and provide guidance to promote efficient resource utilization and achievement of project milestones.\nMonitor project risks, assist in resolving issues, and support adjustments to project plans to minimize disruptions and maintain progress.\nQuality Control & Project Execution\nImplement and support quality control procedures to ensure projects meet established standards and project requirements.\nMonitor construction activities to evaluate project progress and identify potential concerns.\nParticipate in regular project status meetings to review performance, schedules, and project objectives.\nHelp maintain project schedules by ensuring construction activities progress according to established timelines.\nCoordinate with the Project Manager to ensure project documentation is accurate, complete, and properly maintained.\nClient Relations & Stakeholder Collaboration\nDevelop and maintain positive relationships with clients and project stakeholders.\nProactively address client concerns and support a high level of customer service throughout the project lifecycle.\nCollaborate with internal and external project partners to support successful project outcomes and client satisfaction.\nPromote and support the IME culture of safety across all project activities.\nIndustry Representation\nServe as a company ambassador by promoting organizational values and expertise within the electrical contracting industry.\nDemonstrate professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all interactions with internal and external stakeholders.\nAdditional duties as assigned. \nWhat You'll Bring\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong ability to perform due diligence and conduct project risk assessments.\nKnowledge of building construction methods, materials, systems, market conditions, and trade practices.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to explain complex information to audiences with varying levels of technical knowledge.\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.\nDemonstrated commitment to integrity, ethics, and professional conduct.\nAbility and willingness to travel frequently to construction project sites.\nDemonstrated Accomplishments\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, BlueBeam, and Accubid.\nDemonstrated success supporting projects through completion while meeting schedule and budget objectives.\nStrong understanding of electrical construction within large-scale commercial environments.\nExperience building and maintaining effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers while remaining informed of market trends.\nThorough knowledge and application of safety standards within electrical construction.\nAbility to contribute to project quality, coordination, and overall team success.\nEducation & Experience\nExperience supporting or managing industrial and/or commercial electrical construction projects.\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, skills, and training preferred.\nExperience in electrical construction project management preferred.\nEquivalent combinations of relevant education, training, and applied experience will be considered.\nWhat You'll Get\nWorking Conditions:\nThe majority of the time you will work on construction job sites. When on construction job sites you will encounter typical construction conditions including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud debris, welding, leading edge, trenching, and shoring, sometimes in a confined space. You may be required to visit multiple locations during any one day.\nBenefits Overview:\nIME provides an industry-leading comprehensive benefits package.
