This role owns project planning, scheduling, cost control, forecasting, and field execution to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements and company standards.\nThe Construction Project Manager serves as the primary point of contact for clients and external stakeholders, leads coordination across field leadership, subcontractors, and internal support teams, and actively manages risk, change, and performance from contract award through project closeout.\nPay: This is an exempt/salary position. The pay range is $100,000-$145,000. Pay may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.\nLocation/Travel Requirements: Position is based on site at project locations in South Dakota and North Dakota and requires approximately 50% travel, or as needed, to support project execution.\nWhat You'll Do\nOwn project execution from award through closeout, including schedule, cost, and margin performance \nLead contract administration activities including RFIs, change management/change orders, and documentation \nBuild, manage, and recover project schedules; lead planning and coordination with field leadership and subcontractors \nManage project financial controls including forecasting, cost tracking, and job health reporting \nLead internal and external project meetings; communicate status, risks, and action plans clearly \nCoordinate procurement, buyout, and material planning to support field execution \nEnsure compliance with company standards, safety, quality, and contract requirements \nMentor and provide direction to Assistant Project Managers and project support staff \nSupport invoicing and client-facing documentation required for payment and change recovery\nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience \nDemonstrated experience managing construction projects with direct accountability for schedule, cost, and execution outcomes \nExperience leading contract administration, including RFIs and change orders \nIndustry experience in power delivery construction (transmission, distribution, or substation) \nPractical understanding of construction means, methods, materials, and equipment \nProficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to work within project management and scheduling systems \nValid driver’s license and ability to travel as required by project assignments\nPreferred Qualifications\nStrong cost and business acumen, including forecasting vs. actuals and margin protection \nExperience leading distributed teams across multiple project locations \nStrong change management and issue-resolution skills \nLeadership capability to mentor and develop Assistant Project Managers \nClear, professional communication skills with clients, field teams, and internal stakeholders\nThis job requires a DOT physical and a current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate.\nPre-screen: Upon offer, employees will be required to complete and pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and MVR check.\nWhat You'll Get\nBenefits\n401(k) with company match (traditional & roth available)\nPaid Holidays and PTO\nParental Leave\nMedical, Dental, Vision\nAdditional Voluntary benefits available\nEmployee Discounts\nCompany paid: \nHealth Plan (HDHP 5,000 -other plan options available for cost)\nLong Term Disability\n1X Base Salary life Insurance\nEmployee Assistance Program\nBrink Constructors, Inc. does not sponsor applicants for work visas.
