This role is responsible for independently executing design assignments, developing detailed mechanical deliverables, and coordinating with engineering teams to support EPC project execution from concept through construction.\nThe ideal candidate will have experience in industrial or power facility design, strong proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling tools, and the ability to work with minimal supervision while supporting complex multidisciplinary projects.\nWhat You'll Do\nMechanical Design & Drafting\nDevelop and revise mechanical design deliverables for power generation, renewable energy, BESS, data center, and industrial infrastructure projects. \nPrepare and update: \nEquipment layouts and general arrangement drawings \nPiping layouts and routing drawings \nIsometric drawings \nMechanical details and fabrication drawings \nEquipment arrangement plans \nConstruction and installation drawings • Support design of mechanical systems including: \nPiping systems \nHVAC systems \nCooling water and auxiliary systems \nFuel gas and utility systems \nBalance of Plant (BOP) equipment • Incorporate engineering markups, redlines, and design revisions into final deliverables. \n3D Modeling & Design Coordination\nDevelop and maintain 3D models using project specifications and engineering input. \nPerform model updates and coordinate design changes across disciplines. \nAssist with clash detection and model coordination efforts. \nIntegrate vendor equipment models into project designs. \nEnsure adherence to company CAD standards and project-specific requirements. \nProject Execution Support\nSupport projects through conceptual design, detailed engineering, and construction phases. \nDevelop material take-offs (MTOs) and quantity estimates for engineering support. \nTrack assigned deliverables and ensure deadlines are met. \nAssist in preparation of construction packages and technical documentation. \nSupport document control and drawing management activities. \nMultidisciplinary Coordination\nCoordinate with mechanical engineers, civil, structural, electrical, and instrumentation teams. \nParticipate in design review and coordination meetings. \nIdentify and resolve design conflicts across disciplines. \nSupport integration of mechanical systems into overall facility layouts. \nConstruction & Field Support\nAssist with field verification activities and site visits as required. \nSupport responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) under engineer direction. \nUpdate drawings based on field conditions and construction feedback. \nAssist with as-built drawing development and project closeout documentation. \nQuality & Standards\nFollow company drafting standards, project specifications, and engineering procedures. \nPerform quality checks on drawings and models for accuracy and completeness. \nSupport continuous improvement in drafting workflows and design practices. \nMaintain organized and accurate project files and documentation.\nWhat You'll Bring\nEducation & Experience\nAssociate degree or technical diploma in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Mechanical Design, or related field preferred. \nMinimum 3-5 years of mechanical design/drafting experience. \nExperience in power generation, EPC, industrial, manufacturing, or infrastructure projects preferred. \nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of: \nMechanical drafting principles \nPiping systems and layouts \nHVAC and industrial mechanical systems \nConstruction documentation practices • Proficiency with: \nAutoCAD \nRevit \nMicrosoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) • Experience with Plant 3D, Navisworks, or other 3D modeling tools preferred. • Understanding of BIM workflows and multidisciplinary coordination is a plus. \nProfessional
