This role is responsible for coordinating technical activities, supporting project planning and execution, maintaining quality standards, and promoting safe work practices to help ensure project accuracy, compliance, and successful outcomes.\nWhat You'll Do\nProject Planning & Engineering Support\nAnalyze and interpret construction drawings to ensure a thorough understanding of project requirements.\nAssist with reviewing plans, specifications, and contract documents to identify key project requirements and areas requiring ongoing attention.\nSupport the preparation and maintenance of project checklists related to contractual obligations and deliverables.\nCollaborate with project teams by providing input on cost estimates, project schedules, and overall planning activities.\nProject Documentation & Execution\nPrepare statements of work, submittals, and change management documentation to support project execution and communication.\nConduct inspections of equipment, materials, workmanship, and completed construction to verify compliance with project specifications and quality standards.\nMaintain accurate project records to track progress, document changes, and support compliance requirements.\nAssist in monitoring project activities to ensure alignment with approved plans and specifications.\nSafety Management & Compliance\nPromote a culture of safety by supporting compliance with applicable safety regulations, standards, and best practices.\nMonitor ongoing construction activities to verify adherence to established safety procedures.\nEnsure materials, equipment, and work methods comply with project and safety requirements.\nSupport continuous awareness and accountability regarding safety performance across project activities.\nIndustry Representation & Relationship Building\nServe as a company ambassador by representing organizational values and expertise within the electrical contracting industry.\nMaintain professional, ethical, and respectful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.\nBuild and strengthen relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and industry contacts.\nSupport the company’s reputation as a trusted and reliable partner in the electrical contracting sector.\nAdditional duties as assigned.\nWhat You'll Bring\nKnowledge, Skills & Abilities\nStrong ability to perform due diligence and conduct project risk assessments.\nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.\nEffective interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across project teams and stakeholders.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to audiences with varying levels of expertise.\nDemonstrated commitment to integrity, ethics, and professional conduct.\nAbility and willingness to travel frequently to construction project sites.\nDemonstrated Accomplishments\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Procore, BlueBeam, and Accubid.\nProven ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical construction documents.\nUnderstanding of electrical construction within large-scale commercial environments.\nExperience developing and maintaining relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers while remaining aware of industry and market trends.\nThorough knowledge and application of safety standards within electrical construction.\nAbility to support project quality, documentation, and technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle.\nEducation & Experience\nWorking knowledge of supporting or managing industrial and/or commerical electrical construction projects.\nGeneral construction experience preferred.\nBachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, a related field, or an equivalent combination of relevant education, skills, and training preferred.\nEquivalent combinations of relevant education, training, and applied experience will be considered.\nWhat You'll Get\nWorking Conditions:\nThe majority of the time you will work on construction job sites. When on construction job sites you will encounter typical construction conditions including extreme temperatures, noise, dust, mud debris, welding, leading edge, trenching, and shoring, sometimes in a confined space. You may be required to visit multiple locations during any one day.\nBenefits Overview:\nIME provides an industry-leading comprehensive benefits package. Full-time employees are eligible to choose from a variety of healthcare coverage options, which become effective the first of the month after hire.
