The QISG team brings together Engineering, Safety, Quality, Material Procurement, QA/QC, Right-of-Way Acquisition, Scheduling, Environmental Planning, Permitting, Title and Land Management expertise that ensure outstanding results for our clients.\nAbout this Role\nThe Project Manager at QISG will be responsible for all aspects of design-build/engineer-procure-construct projects including, but not limited to, management and administration of the prime contract, overseeing the engineering, design, procurement, scheduling, and construction management teams. This position is responsible for all facets of project execution including, but not limited to, direction and coordination of the field office and management and administration of construction subcontracts and purchase orders.\nThe Project Manager is responsible for the supervision of all field operations on assigned projects and may, on a temporary basis, be required to perform all aspects of their project management-related duties from the site of the work.\nThe Project Manager will oversee the auditing and inspection of work performed by construction subcontractors for compliance to the contract specifications and tests, and audit report preparation.\nWhat You'll Do\nManages integrated DB/EPC teams from project inception through completion\nProvides overall direction and coordination of intermediate and final engineering design and construction activities\nAdministration and management of the prime contract, construction subcontracts, and purchase orders\nEnsures compliance with customer goals and expectations associated with safety, quality, and environmental stewardship\nPlans, executes, and provides reporting on overall project performance\nWorks directly with the customer to ensure optimal communication, customer satisfaction, and effective coordination between the project and other activities occurring at the jobsite \nMitigates and effectively resolves potential disputes\nDevelops and provides oversight to ensure compliance with project-specific health and safety plans and project-specific quality control and quality assurance plans\nResponds to and/or oversees Requests for Information\nPerforms value engineering and constructability reviews\nDevelops a procurement status report with the engineering design, procurement, scheduling and estimating teams, and defines the segregation of work by subcontract and purchase order packages\nDevelops and/or oversees subcontractor and supplier scope, price, and schedule exhibits for subcontract and purchase order packages\nWorks with procurement teams to coordinate local bidding efforts\nProcurement oversight of subcontracts and purchase orders\nReviews and approves subcontract and purchase order invoices\nOversight of subcontractor and purchase order submittals\nDevelops initial project-specific schedules in conjunction with engineering design, scheduling, accounting, and field construction staff\nMonitors the overall progress of conceptual design, intermediate and final engineering design, and construction activities\nAdministers and manages changes to the prime contract\nDevelops a project-specific Schedule of Values\nSubmits and expedites timely receipt of progress payments\nCoordinates, prepares, and presents progress, budget forecasting, and schedule management reports on a monthly basis\nProject close-out and warranty administration\nPerforms post-construction cost review and reporting\nEnsures optimal relations among project stakeholders (customers, design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers)\nTrains and mentors junior staff\nAdheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures\nPerforms special projects and completes other duties as assigned or requested\nWhat You'll Bring\nBachelor’s Degree in Construction Science, Construction Management, Engineering, or equivalent \nTen (10) years’ experience performing construction, including at least five (5) years’ experience on DB/EPC projects (either as a DB/EPC contractor, or as a general contractor performing as a DB/EPC contractor or part of a DB/EPC team) in the Power Delivery industry\nMust be well versed in various aspects of engineering design and construction, and contracting methodologies, as well as project planning and management-related tasks and activities including, but not limited to, engineering, estimating, scheduling, bidding, project management and administration and management of prime contracts, preparation and administration of purchase orders and subcontracts, field supervision, budget control, safety, quality assurance, etc. \nThorough knowledge of materials, methods, and equipment used in transmission, distribution, and substation work\nStrong people relationship management skills\nSelf-starter\nStrong problem evaluation/solving skills\nStrong team building skills\nAbility to interact effectively with the design
