(NYSE: PWR).\nBuild your career at Irby Construction.\nAbout this Role\nThe Project Manager at Irby Construction Company is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating high-voltage transmission and distribution projects, overseeing multiple crews, and ensuring safe, high-quality, and cost-effective project delivery. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of powerline construction experience, in-depth knowledge of OSHA codes and standards, and the ability to manage all aspects of project execution from pre-construction through closeout. The Project Manager must possess strong leadership, technical, and organizational skills, and be able to direct multiple crews and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.\nWhat You'll Do\nPre-Construction Planning\nAttend pre-construction meetings with estimators and stakeholders.\nReview bid packages for accuracy, completeness, and scope.\nProvide technical assistance, interpret drawings, and recommend construction methods and equipment.\nAssist in developing construction schedules, plans, and organizing crews.\nWork with Superintendent to assign foremen to job tasks and generate lists of required personnel, equipment, and tooling.\nArrange for personnel and equipment transfers to projects.\nSupport pre-construction activities including bid preparation, contract and exhibit review, and execution planning. \nProject Planning & Management\nOversee budget projections for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.\nEnsure project expenditure remains within established budgets, implementing cost-saving strategies.\nDevelop, update, and manage project schedules\nPrepare billing packages and submit documentation to clients.\nMonitor daily, weekly, and monthly projections and track progress across all activities.\nProvide accurate project cost forecasts and develop monthly cost-to-complete reports.\nPrepare, submit, monitor, and maintain all project submittals and RFIs.\nAnalyze cost reports and identify methods to optimize expenses.\nManage the invoicing or payment application process for completed scopes of work. \nConstruction Execution\nReview and become familiar with multiple contracts; ensure compliance with specifications.\nAccountable for quality of work and safety performance.\nVisit crews to monitor safety, quality, and production.\nAssist foremen in coordinating major project activities and critical tasks.\nAttend project meetings with owners and stakeholders.\nUpdate schedules and progress reports;
