Discover how your skills and dedication can make a real difference to us.\nAbout this Role\nNorthStar Energy Solutions, a Quanta Services Company, is seeking an organized and experienced Project Manager - Transmission to lead the planning, execution, and closeout of high-voltage electric transmission and distribution construction and maintenance projects.\nWhat You'll Do\nProject Leadership & ExecutionDirect all phases of the project lifecycle-from kickoff through commissioning and closeout. \nLead project handoffs from the estimating department and finalize baseline schedules\nAccurately identify schedule constraints and responsible parties; update schedules weekly and manage unplanned events. \n\nPlanning & CoordinationDevelop detailed project schedules, budgets, and resource plans. \nCoordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and compliant execution. \n\nClient & Stakeholder EngagementLead weekly progress meetings with clients and internal stakeholders. \nServe as the primary point of contact for project updates, challenges, and resolutions. \n\n Financial & Risk ManagementMaintain cost tracking, change order management, and risk mitigation plans. \nManage and report project financials, including Percent Complete, Cost-to-Complete, and WIP metrics. \nApprove and process AP invoices; finalize and submit AR invoices to clients. \nMaintain and coordinate change order logs with operations for formal client requests.\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nStrong understanding of construction jobsite processes and procedures. \nPMP®, CMRP®, or equivalent professional certification preferred.\nProven ability to prioritize and manage multiple fast-paced projects with competing deadlines. \nExcellent communication skills with the ability to present information and respond to inquiries from managers, clients, customers, and permitting agencies. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel. \nStrong computer skills and ability to quickly learn new systems and tools. \nEffective scheduling and delegation skills to ensure timely task completion. \nWorking knowledge of billing processes, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)\nWhat You'll Get\nAs a Quanta Services employee, we offer a wide range of benefits to fit your needs.\n401(k) with immediate matching and vesting\nFully comprehensive benefits packages; Medical, Dental, VisionYour choice of PPO, HSA, FSA\n\nShort term and long term benefits\nEmployee discounts on consumer goods\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
