With over 700 employees and growing, we have thousands of years of combined electrical utility experience to draw from when committing to provide our clients with a wide range of utility services.\nAbout this Role\nPAR Western Line Contractors, LLC is looking for a Regional Controller to oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, and will provide financial analysis and accounting management support for the respective region. The Regional Controller ensures the financial viability of the region by establishing and monitoring financial plans and budgets.\nWhat You'll Do\nPlan, direct, and coordinate accounting operational functions of respective region\nCollaborate with management to understand business objectives and priorities, and provide consultative support through financial and resource planning analysis, reports and recommendations\nDevelop organizational financial strategy by minimizing risk, and identifying growth opportunities\nGenerate actionable insights from technical and financial data, and identify ways to improve financial efficiency by cutting costs, and boosting business profits\nEstablish and enforce proper accounting methods, policies and procedures to support the company’s goals/objectives\nManage all aspects of Project Accounting for each project (cost, budget, contracts, payments, etc.)\nDevelop and implement financial systems, and controls to improve financial performance company-wide\nReview and evaluate the effectiveness of all financial and accounting systems and processes in the assigned region, and initiate corrective actions\nOversee the financial position of the respective region by reporting and tracking balance sheets, invoices, payroll, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable\nEvaluate accounting and internal control systems, and ensure all control requirements are met\nEnsure compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations\nPrepare monthly reports, monthly forecasts, financial statements and key performance indicators\nAnalyze cash flow, cost controls, and performance measurements to support operational goals\nWork with management to coordinate and/or prepare annual budgets, and budget processing\nDevelop financial projects to assist management in creating short and long term financial goals and strategies\nResponsible for the timeliness and accuracy of the monthly revenue and cost uploads to general ledger\nAnalyze and accurately report current month’s financial results to management team and support operations in making informed decisions\nOversee audits of bills of materials to ensure product costs are accurate and accounted for properly\nResponsible for the training and supervision of all accounting personnel in the region/division\nManage all local tax and business registration fillings for the region\nFunction as the financial management link between division and corporate office\nAll other duties as assigned\nWhat You'll Bring\nQUALIFICATIONS:\nStrong knowledge of Business, Finance and Accounting practices\nKnowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)\nKnowledge of U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) regulations\nExtensive knowledge of standard Accounting policies and procedures\nKnowledge and hands-on experience with different types of Accounting software systems\nFamiliarity with cost, project, financial, and managerial accounting\nWorking knowledge of data processing, contracting, and purchasing\nStrong knowledge of the Construction/Utility industry\nDemonstrated ability to work well independently, and collaboratively within a team environment\nAdherence to tight deadlines and quick turnaround for accounting deliverables\nAbility to multi-task, and ensure tasks are completed thoroughly and correctly\nStrong analytical and technical problem-solving skills\nOutstanding organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail\nStrong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management, employees, and customers\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\nAdvanced computer skills\nAdvanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:\nRequired Education and Experience\nBachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Equivalent\n8+ Years of Relative Accounting Experience\n3+ Years Prior Experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager\nPreferred Education and Experience\nMaster’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Equivalent\n10+ Years of Relative Accounting Experience\n5+ Years Prior Experience as an Accounting Manager, Accounting Supervisor or Finance Manager\nLICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS:\nRequired Licenses/Certifications\nNone\nPreferred Licenses/Certifications\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA)\nCertified Management Accountant (CMA)\nChartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA)\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nYes\nTRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:\nTravels: No\nPercent of time: 0%\nOvernight required: No\nWhat You'll Get\nPay- $ 125,000 - $150,000/ Annually *Depending on Experience\nBenefits include-- Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K\nOur projects are regulated by federal and state laws which require all employees to successfully pass criminal background checks, MVR, and drug tests (post-employment and random testing).
