About this Role
Want to learn a trade with your hands instead of sitting through another semester of lectures? Potelco's Repair Center in Fredrickson, WA is looking for an entry-level Repair Technician. No experience required, just curiosity, mechanical aptitude, and a willingness to learn. You'll get hands-on, on-the-job training across four disciplines that most people spend years picking up: small gas engines, pneumatic tools, hydraulics, and live line tool refurbishment.
If you like taking things apart to understand how they work, enjoy working on something different regularly, and want to be part of a great team that will teach you rather than just hand you a manual, this could be your way in. We’re looking for someone who is eager to learn, ready to build their skillset from the ground up, and comfortable growing in a fast-paced environment.
The pay for this role ranges from $27 - $30 per hour. Depending on Experience
What You'll Do
- Inspecting, repairing, refurbishing, and testing an assortment of live line tools.
- Repairing 2- and 4-stroke small gas engines.
- Repairing pneumatic tools.
- Repairing corded and cordless electric tools.
- Repairing smaller hydraulic rams, cylinders, and pumps.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You'll Bring
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Mechanical aptitude: hobbyist, shop class, or on-your-own tinkering all count
- Willingness to learn new systems and follow structured repair processes, including work order/repair tracking software
- Must pass mandatory drug and alcohol screening(s)

Compensation Range
The anticipated compensation for this position is USD $27.00/Hr. - USD $30.00/Hr. depending on experience and qualifications.Equal Opportunity Employer
