We offer our team members competitive pay and benefits, rewarding work, growth opportunities, and a constructive and collaborative work environment.\nPosition Summary:\nThe Senior Project Accountant is responsible for the accounting administration and financial system maintenance of assigned projects. This position ensures authorized project activity is accurately recorded in the company’s accounting systems and supports the Regional Controller through reliable project financial records, month-end accounting, reporting, and compliance.\nWhat You'll Do\nKey Responsibilities:\nProject Setup & Budget Maintenance\nEstablish new projects and maintain required job master information within the accounting system.\nSet up and maintain project budgets, cost codes, work breakdown structures, quantities, and other accounting attributes.\nRecord authorized budget adjustments and approved project changes in JDE and applicable financial systems.\nLoad approved monthly forecasts into JDE and verify successful system updates.\n\nReconciliations & Transaction Review\nPerform project-level account reconciliations and research discrepancies in recorded activity.\nReview project transactions for appropriate coding, classification, and accounting treatment.\nReconcile relevant financial information between JDE and other reporting systems and investigate differences.\nMonth-End Close & Financial Reporting\nExecute assigned month-end close procedures, including necessary journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.\nGenerate project financial reports and accounting schedules for the Regional Controller and management.\nRevenue Recognition & Compliance\nSupport revenue recognition and project accounting requirements in accordance with company policy, GAAP, and ASC 606.\nAudit & Controls Support\nMaintain accounting support for recorded project transactions and system adjustments in accordance with record-retention requirements.\nProvide requested accounting support and schedules for internal and external audits.\nIdentify unusual transactions, accounting discrepancies, or control exceptions and bring them to the Regional Controller’s attention.\nSupport consistent application of project accounting policies and procedures across assigned projects.\nWhat You'll Bring\nQualifications & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.\n3-5+ years of project accounting, construction accounting, or general accounting experience in a project-based environment.\nStrong knowledge of project accounting, general ledger activity, reconciliations, and month-end close.\nWorking knowledge of GAAP and revenue recognition principles, including ASC 606.\nStrong analytical skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage accounting responsibilities across multiple projects and reporting periods.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with JDE, OneStream, EcoSys, or similar financial systems preferred.\nWhat You'll Get\nBenefits:\nWe offer an extremely competitive and comprehensive benefits package including:\nPTO that starts accruing DAY 1\n401K Immediate Vesting; employer match starting same day\nSeveral medical plans to choose from\nDental Plan and Vision Plan\nLife insurance, short term & long-term disability\nPaid Holidays\nPet Insurance\nEmployee discounts, EAP and Wellness Program\nIdentity Theft Protection and so much more!\nEqual Opportunity Employer\nAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin or ancestry, sex (including gender, pregnancy, sexual orientation, and/or gender identity), age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, and/or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.We are an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability and protected veteran status.
