Provide on-site management, direction, and acceptance of responsibility of assigned projects.\nWhat You'll Do\nEstablish and carry out project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within the boundaries of corporate policy and mission statement\nSupervise construction management and ensure proper coordination of all field activities and resource usage\nSupport and carry out the Company's strategic plan, goals and ideas including level of quality, safety, housekeeping, client relations, subcontractor relations and general attitude and impression of the company\nBuild project teams - Assist to fill key field staff positions through coordination with department heads\nPerform initial post-award periodical contract review as required\nOversee the development, implementation and overall management of the Project Execution Plan and Quality Management System\nApprove all QA/QC Procedures/Plans/Work Instructions for implementation on site\nPrimary contact for client, subcontractors, vendors, and A/E Contracts\nMonitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site construction supervision to ensure project is built safely on schedule, within budget and in compliance with specifications\nRepresent Company during client, subcontractor, and vendor meetings\nFacilitate project strategy and planning, status, and progress meetings\nSubmit progress reports as per contractual requirements\nIntercede as necessary in all aspects of project to ensure the Company's goals are maintained\nProvide oversight and input into the development of the project schedule, review periodic updates with scheduler and site construction managers and ensure the construction and contractual requirements of the schedule are met\nHave a thorough knowledge of the plans, specifications, schedule, and budget\nDevelop and implement motivational techniques with supervision to accelerate project, as necessary. Implement rewarding and/or disciplinary action and accountability when necessary\nPrepare and submit daily/weekly project status updates to Project Sponsor and coordinate input from site managers\nPerform additional responsibilities as assigned by corporate executives\nPerforms any other duties assigned\nAdheres to internal standards, policies, and procedures\nWhat You'll Bring\nMust possess a four-year engineering or business degree or equivalent combinations of training and/or experience\nMust have a minimum of 15 years project management of large complex EPC projects\nMust have strong customer relationship experience\nMust be able to apply innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance\nMust have thorough understanding of corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc\nRequires thorough knowledge of construction discipline responsibilities and divisions, union agreements, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering and any other aspect required to perform in position\nThe ability to supervise is essential\nMust possess the necessary leadership skills that will enable effective performance in this position\nSignificant business skill and tact is required.
