The Site Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and communicating detailed construction schedules for active EPC projects. Working closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Superintendents, Engineering, Procurement, and subcontractors, this role monitors project progress, identifies schedule risks, and provides proactive solutions to keep projects on track.\nThe ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. This position serves as the scheduling expert at the project site, translating field progress into actionable schedule updates and providing leadership with accurate schedule forecasting and reporting.\nWhat You'll Do\nDevelop and maintain detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup schedules for assigned projects. \nUpdate project schedules regularly using field progress, subcontractor updates, and project team input. \nPerform schedule analysis to identify critical path activities, float consumption, schedule variance, and potential delays. \nWork closely with Construction Managers and Superintendents to validate progress and forecast upcoming work. \nCoordinate schedule updates with Engineering, Procurement, Project Controls, and subcontractors. \nFacilitate weekly and monthly schedule review meetings with project stakeholders. \nPrepare look-ahead schedules (2-week, 3-week, or 6-week) to support field execution. \nDevelop recovery schedules and mitigation plans when schedule impacts occur. \nMonitor productivity trends and identify opportunities to improve project performance. \nAssist with change management by evaluating schedule impacts associated with scope changes. \nSupport claims avoidance by maintaining accurate schedule documentation and historical records. \nGenerate schedule reports, dashboards, and executive summaries for project leadership. \nEnsure scheduling activities comply with company procedures and client requirements. \nPromote a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement throughout project execution. \nWhat You'll Bring\nRequired\nBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field; equivalent construction scheduling experience may be considered. \n3+ years of scheduling experience supporting industrial, power generation, heavy civil, manufacturing, or EPC construction projects. \nExperience developing and maintaining CPM schedules. \nProficiency with Primavera P6. \nStrong understanding of construction sequencing and project execution. \nAbility to interpret construction drawings and project specifications. \nStrong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. \nExcellent communication and collaboration abilities. \nAbility to travel and work full-time at project sites. \nPreferred\nExperience supporting EPC or power generation projects. \nFamiliarity with commissioning and startup activities. \nExperience with Microsoft Project, Power BI, or schedule analytics tools. \nKnowledge of earned value principles and project controls. \nExperience supporting large capital projects ($100M+). \nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities\nThorough understanding of CPM scheduling principles. \nAbility to identify schedule risks before they become project impacts. \nStrong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction workflows. \nAbility to prioritize competing project demands. \nExcellent attention to detail. \nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence project teams without direct authority. \nProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. \nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to work on active construction sites. \nAbility to walk uneven terrain, climb stairs and ladders, and access elevated work areas. \nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). \nAbility to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. \nAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. \nWork Environment\nThis position is primarily based at active construction sites and requires regular interaction with field personnel, subcontractors, and project leadership.
