Discover how your skills and dedication can make a real difference to us.\nAbout this Role\nSr. Piping Designer\n10+ Years Experience\nNorthStar Energy Services, a Quanta Services company, is seeking an experienced Sr. Piping Designer to join our Professional Engineering Consulting team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. This role supports EPC and engineering design projects for oil & gas, petrochemical, and data center clients.\nThe Sr. Piping Designer for this position will be responsible for the piping design deliverables of concurrent projects from concept design through to the successful completion of various drawing issuances and submission of final project as-built drawings.\nWhat You'll Do\nDesign\nGenerate 3D piping models utilizing CADWorx plant 2018 or later version.\nGenerate equipment models utilizing CADWorx Equipment\nIsometric extraction in a 3D model environment utilizing CADWorx Isogen\nExpertise in equipment and piping layout from concept PFD & P&ID\nAssist with coordination of 3D model activities, i.e. input, interference reconciliation, etc. with other physical related disciplines,\nInterface with stress and pipe support engineers, construction, and suppliers during the preparation of piping designs for the purpose of model/space control, etc.\nPrepare drawings and concept sketches to support construction work, change orders, estimates, etc.\nPrepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as status reports, punch lists describing work items to be done, sketches of work already completed, material requirement calculations, etc. to piping lead.\nDrafting\nPrepare orthographic drawings from 3D models that incorporate Industrial Standards\nPrepare plans, sections, details, and Isometric view drawings. Assess and provides sufficient product views and details to communicate information and or data needed for fabrication.
