Every project brings something different, giving you the variety, responsibility, and professional growth that experienced technicians are looking for.\nIf you’re technically sharp, adaptable, and ready to put your expertise to work where it matters most, AES wants you on our team.\nRelocation: Candidates should be willing to relocate to Utah to join our growing team and support nationwide project assignments.\nWhat You'll Do\nTypical Work Performed\nTest, inspect, and troubleshoot transformers, electrical systems and equipment.\n\nOperate electrical test equipment (Doble, Manta, Vanguard, Omicron).\n\nWork with relays (SEL, Multilin, Basler) and related software (DTA, Protection Suite, Enoserve/RTS, PTM, Accelerator).\n\nPerform testing and commissioning on transformers, circuit breakers, relays, meters, and other electrical apparatus.\n\nRead and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.\n\nDocument test results using Word and Excel.\n\nTroubleshoot and repair complex electrical circuits.\n\nMaintain strong client relationships.\n\nFollow safe work practices and work independently or as part of a team\n\nWhat You'll Bring\nQualifications:\nHigh school graduate or GED equivalent\nValid Class A CDL (preferred) with a clean driving record and medical card.\nAt least 5 years of high-voltage testing, either relay or apparatus\nHigh level of proficiency with test sets such as Doble, Manta, Vanguard, Omicron\nMust be willing to travel interstate, on a weekly/bi-weekly basis\nStrong organization skills and attention to detail\nAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing\nWhat You'll Get\nWhen you join Advanced Electric Systems (AES), you’re not just stepping into a job, you’re becoming part of a team that takes pride in the work we do and the people who do it.
