This is a travel position with job sites in OR, WA, ID and MT.\nThe Travel Sr. Construction Manager will oversee the operations of multiple construction sites and the daily activities at each site. She/he will be responsible for the overall progress of the project as well as the scheduling of workers and the delivery of equipment and materials. He/she will supervise the foreman and crews performing work at each job site. This position will be accountable for the timely completion of the project and ensuring that the project is constructed in strict accordance with plans, specifications, and local codes.\nPay: $105,000 - $120,000/yr + bonus eligibility (both commensurate with experience and performance)\nWhat You'll Do\nResponsibilities:\nAll phases of telecommunication construction include but are not limited to: Loading, driving, delivery, digging, removal and placement of various types, sizes and weight of construction materials and equipment.\nMaintain strict build-out schedule and make changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are met \nPerform inspection of job sites and individual work duties \nMaintain a daily job-site log \nPerform quality control duties per job site \nParticipate in required supervisor meetings \nEnsure that each team member is aware of quality and safety standards and company policies \nAssist in training foreman and crew members \nCreate and maintain positive relationships with workers, customers, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors \nCoordinate with subcontractors and verify work is completed \nCoordinate construction services and activities \nEnsure job site safety is being met \nMediate disputes or complaints with third parties \nApprove daily timecard submissions for foreman and crew members \nWhat You'll Bring\nQualifications:\n10+ years of telecom\n5+ years in telecom leadership positions. \nAdvanced understanding of:HDD Construction and Operations\nHighly technical broadband builds in extremely dense, metro areas\n Crew setup, coordination, and sequencing in dense, metro settings\n\nAbility to travel\nMust be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. \nPossess a valid driver’s license or be eligible and willing to obtain the required license for the position. \nA good driving record is required. \nBasic knowledge of and ability to operate various types of utility trucks and equipment in a safe manner. \nBasic knowledge of and ability to hand tools and equipment in a safe manner. \nClass A Commercial Driver’s License is a plus (Higher wage scales apply to CDL holders). \nAbility to communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc. \nWilling and able to work in all weather conditions. \nWhat You'll Get\nBenefits Include:\nHealth Insurance: Medical, Dental, Vision Plans \nFlexible Spending Accounts/Health Savings Accounts \nRetirement Savings Plan (401K) with company matching \nShort & Long Term Disability \nSupplemental Life and AD&D Insurance \nPaid Holidays and Vacation \nCompetitive Pay \n* Pay is based on the knowledge, skills, and abilities of the employee and is negotiable.\nWorking Conditions:\nThis is a full-time hourly position, expected to work at least 40 hours per week. This position may occasionally be exposed to natural gas and to the risk of electrical shock. Exposure to moderate to loud noise levels.\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe employee will need to have the ability to stand for long periods of time (up to 12 hours at a time), tolerate work in extreme weather conditions, speak and hear worksite safety instructions, withstand prolonged and repeated: lifting, standing, climbing, kneeling, reaching and feeling, crouching, and crawling. The employee will need to be able to regularly lift 75 pounds.
