the full development lifecycle - from research and design to programming and testing - with the freedom to think independently and make a real impact.\nKey Responsibilities\nMaintain and contribute to a Rust-based compiler codebase. \nDevelop and apply optimization methods for quantum-classical programs. \nDesign and implement novel features for quantum programming languages. \nCollaborate with key stakeholders across research and engineering teams. \nYou Must Have\nSoftware development experience, preferably in Rust or Python. \nBroad knowledge of programming languages, paradigms, and compiler concepts. \nAbility to work collaboratively, communicate technical ideas clearly, and write clean, maintainable code. \nFamiliarity with collaboration tools (e.g., version control, issue tracking) and development tools (e.g., debugger, profiler, testing frameworks). \nA 2:1 or higher degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related discipline. \nAbility to read and implement ideas from technical research materials. \nWe Value\nExperience designing classical compilers and programming languages. \nKnowledge of quantum computing, quantum algorithms, or programming quantum systems. \nExperience with compiler frameworks such as LLVM or MLIR. \nFamiliarity with formal methods, type theory, or program verification tools. \nBackground in large software system architecture and
