Responsibilities:\nPerform incoming inspection of purchased components, materials, assemblies, and fabricated parts to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality requirements\nOperate Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) equipment to inspect complex mechanical components and verify dimensional accuracy\nReview engineering drawings, CAD models, specifications, and inspection plans to determine acceptance criteria\nConduct dimensional, visual, and documentation inspections of incoming materials and components\nDocument inspection results and maintain accurate records within quality management and manufacturing systems\nIdentify, document, and escalate non-conforming materials in accordance with established quality procedures\nPartner with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality teams to resolve discrepancies and support corrective actions\nSupport first article inspections (FAI), source inspections, and qualification activities as required\nDevelop and maintain inspection procedures, checklists, and standard work instructions\nAssist with calibration, maintenance, and verification of inspection equipment and metrology tools\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on inspection processes, quality performance, and operational efficiency\nAnalyze inspection data and identify trends to support supplier quality and manufacturing improvement efforts\nMaintain organized inspection areas and adhere to 5S, safety, and quality standards\nEnsure compliance with company quality requirements, engineering specifications, and regulatory standards\nSupport production schedules by ensuring timely inspection and disposition of incoming materials\nYOU MUST HAVE:\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nMinimum 3-5+ years of experience in quality inspection, incoming inspection, manufacturing quality, or metrology environments\nDue to national security requirements imposed by the U.S. Government, candidates for this position must not be a People's Republic of China national or Russian national unless the candidate is also a U.S. citizen.\nDue to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S. Person, defined as a U.S. citizen, permanent resident or green card holder, workers granted asylum or refugee status.\nWE VALUE:\nAssociate degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering Technology, Metrology, or a related field\nExperience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and interpreting dimensional inspection results\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, specifications, and technical documentation\nExperience using precision measurement equipment such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and optical measurement systems\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality\nExperience programming or operating advanced CMM systems such as Zeiss, Hexagon, Mitutoyo, or similar platforms\nStrong understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)\nExperience supporting incoming inspection in manufacturing, aerospace, semiconductor, medical device, or advanced technology environments\nFamiliarity with quality management systems, nonconformance processes, and corrective action methodologies\nExperience working with ERP, MES, or quality management software systems\nKnowledge of first article inspection (FAI) and supplier quality processes\nStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing
