This role requires experience in workload migration from on-premise datacenter environments to AWS, enabling clients to leverage the full potential of cloud capabilities.\nBasic Qualifications (BQ):\nAWS Cloud Migration (EC2, EBS, VPCs, Migration Hub, MGN).\nVMware environment assessment & migration planning.\nWave planning, dependency analysis, stakeholder engagement.\nStrong AWS architecture, security, and compliance knowledge.\n Cloud Migration Expertise:\nUnderstanding of different Migration approaches (Rs) with recent experience.\nExperience with on-prem VMware/other platform based Virtual Machine Lift and Shift (REHOST) migration to AWS EC2 instance based architectures.\nPrevious work experience with tools like Cloud Endure, Double-Take, AWS Migration Hub, AWS Application Migration Service (MGN), AWS Server Migration Service (SMS), and AWS Database Migration Service (DMS). Good to have understanding of Database servers.\nExpertise in AWS services, including EC2, S3, auto-scaling, Landing Zone, and Control Tower.\nProficiency in using AWS Migration Evaluator and Portfolio Assessment tools to analyze migration strategies.\nWell-versed in service-oriented architecture and cloud-based web services architecture, design patterns, and frameworks.\nGood understanding of Windows or Linux OS. Experience with troubleshooting Linux/Windows OS issues while migrating. Good to have handled Database server migrations also.\nStrong knowledge of cloud-related services such as compute, storage, network, and messaging (e.g., SNS, SQS).\nOther Qualifications (OQ):\nFamiliarity on-prem VMware ecosystem such as vSphere, vCenter, ESX, NSX.\nFamiliarity with vMotion, VM Export/Import and integrating with AWS.\nSkills in monitoring cloud infrastructure and application performance using tools like Amazon CloudWatch.\nExperience in optimizing database queries and application performance following migration.\nRelevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer).\nExperience with relational SQL, NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).\nAbility to build and manage container hosting platforms using
