You will combine deep technical expertise in AI and machine learning with people leadership, translating emerging AI capabilities into practical solutions that make a real impact for our clients.\nHow will you make an impact? \nTechnical leadership: Architect and lead the delivery of complex generative AI applications, from design through to production deployment, setting technical standards and championing engineering best practices across the team\nPeople development: Manage and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of intellectual curiosity, experimentation, and continuous learning to support career growth and team capability\nSolution quality: Oversee end-to-end AI solution delivery, balancing technical excellence with commercial pragmatism and ensuring robust documentation for client self-sufficiency\nClient engagement: Contribute to pre-sales activities including technical scoping, proposal development, and client presentations, translating complex AI concepts into compelling business value propositions\nStrategic contribution: Help shape the direction of the AI Solutions team, identifying opportunities to develop reusable components and accelerators, and staying connected to the evolving AI ecosystem\nThe superpowers you’ll be bringing to the team: \nProven AI leadership: 7 or more years of experience in data science, AI and machine learning solution delivery, or technical consulting, with a demonstrated track record of progression to technical leadership\nGenerative AI expertise: Deep understanding of large language model applications and practical experience building with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, or similar\nEngineering excellence: Strong Python programming skills with modern software development practices including testing, CI/CD, code quality tools, and cloud-native development (AWS, Azure, or GCP)\nArchitecture thinking: Experience leading the design of production-grade AI solutions and machine learning pipelines using orchestration tools such as Airflow, Vertex AI Pipelines, and DB\nCommercial awareness: Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, with experience in effort estimation, scoping, and business development\nRemember - you might not tick all the boxes, but don’t let that from stopping you applying.
