Quantium partners with the world's largest corporations to forge a better, more intelligent world.\n\nThe Senior Financial Accountant’s primary responsibility is to manage the general ledger for group of companies in Quantium which includes reviewing results for accuracy. The role will support the completion of monthly financial reporting to the CFO and other external joint venture partners. The role will require you to develop strong relationships with stakeholders across the global business, in multiple time zones and geographies\n\nHow will you make an impact? \nFinancial reporting, managing the General Ledger including ensuring the accuracy of the numbers (P&L, Balance Sheet and Cashflow) for both internal and external reporting.\nGL Integrity, ensure monthly reconciliation and review of all balance sheet accounts and timely resolution of variances.\nWorking with the wider finance team, work with other team leads in documenting process improvements and ensuring efficiencies within the teams.\nInternal reporting requirements, managing relationships with internal stakeholders including the delivery of timely and accurate internal reports.\nMonthly Management Accounts, assist with the timely and accurate reporting to the group financial controller of consolidated monthly results with commentary / analyses of balance sheet movements and income statement variances against budget / forecast.\nkey activities \nMonthly review of P&L and assist in preparation of CFO report.\nMonthly reconciliation of allocated GL accounts and review of all balance sheet reconciliations, including resolving differences on a timely basis\nMonthly processing of salary related journals in all Quantium entities\nDrive improvements in process and efficiencies in the finance team\nAssist the Financial Reporting Manager with external audits\nAssisting with compliance of ad hoc internal and external reporting requirements\nOther ad-Hoc requests made by Financial Controller & Lead financial accountant.\nThe superpowers you’ll be bringing to the team: \nCA Qualified with 5+ years’ work experience in a large corporate company (or first time mover from Audit)\nPrior experience in developing process improvements\nExceptional attention to detail\nStrong communication, time management and presentation skills and ability to work both independently and as a member of a team\nCuriosity with experience and willingness in challenging the status quo\nExperience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be highly regarded\nAdvanced MS Excel skills\n\nKey People and Leadership capabilities required\nSelf-aware - you leverage diversity across people, tasks, client interactions and projects, taking responsibility for yourself and others\nAgile and innovative - you possess strong lateral thinking skills and actively develop these in others\nAchieve and perform - you have exceptional execution skills and are achievement focused\nPurposeful and aligned - you are able to set clear, tangible objectives which deliver against our strategy\nAchievement oriented - you effectively facilitate challenging performance related conversations in a timely and appropriate manner\nCoach - you demonstrate the ability to coach and develop others while facilitating learning, growth and engagement\nRemember - you might not tick all the boxes, but don’t let that from stopping you applying.
