We are developing cutting-edge technologies to enable the next generation of fault-tolerant quantum computers.\nAbout the Role\nWe are looking for a highly motivated Electro-Optics Lab Technician / Engineer to join our Electro-Optics Group. This is a hands-on laboratory position focused on building, calibrating, and maintaining advanced optical systems that support our trapped-ion quantum computing platform.\nThe ideal candidate enjoys working in the lab, has excellent technical and troubleshooting skills, and takes pride in assembling and maintaining high-precision electro-optical systems.\nRequirements and skills\nBuild, align, calibrate, and characterize electro-optical setups.\nPerform routine maintenance, calibration, and optimization of the company's laser systems, including maintaining robust and accurate laser frequency locks to ensure reliable operation for trapped-ion experiments.\nDiagnose and resolve issues in optical and laser systems to maximize system uptime and performance.\nMaintain inventory and stock of electro-optical components and laboratory supplies.\nProvide electro-optical support to R&D laboratories, including setup, maintenance, and troubleshooting of experimental systems.\nDocument procedures, calibrations, and maintenance activities.\nQualifications\nRequired\nExtensive hands-on experience assembling, aligning, and calibrating precision electro-optical systems.\nStrong practical laboratory skills and a hands-on approach to technical work.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating closely with researchers and engineers.\nPreferred\nExperience working with laser systems, including alignment, maintenance, and frequency stabilization -
