We build the entire quantum computing stack-from hardware and control systems to cloud infrastructure and user-facing applications.\nWe are looking for an experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer to join our software team and help build reliable, scalable, and production-ready platforms. In this role, you will work across the quantum software stack, developing modern frontend and backend services while taking end-to-end ownership-from architecture and implementation to deployment and production operations.\nYou will collaborate closely with our theoretical physicists to transform cutting-edge algorithms and research code into robust, production-grade software that powers our quantum computing platform.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, RESTful APIs, and modern web applications with intuitive user interfaces.\nCollaborate closely with the theoretical physics team to integrate research algorithms into production-quality software.\nBuild the infrastructure and software interfaces required to deliver physics-driven capabilities to customers.\nDeploy, operate, and maintain production systems across AWS and on-premises environments.\nManage cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) best practices.\nDesign, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.\nManage development, staging, and production environments.\nDevelop and maintain unit, integration, and end-to-end automated tests.\nImplement observability solutions, including logging, monitoring, metrics, dashboards, and alerting.\nTroubleshoot production issues and continuously improve system reliability, performance, scalability, and security.\nParticipate in system architecture, technical design discussions, code reviews, and engineering planning.\nRequirements and skills\n5+ years of professional software development experience.\nBSc degree in computer science or similar studies\nStrong hands-on experience building modern frontend applications using frontend technologies such as React (or a similar framework).\nStrong Python development skills with experience building production-grade backend services and APIs.\nProven experience delivering software products or major features from design through production.\nExperience designing scalable, highly available, and high-performance distributed systems.\nSolid understanding of cloud architecture, networking, application security, and identity/access management.\nHands-on experience with cloud platforms, containers, and container orchestration.\nExperience with Terraform or another Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) framework.\nExperience implementing monitoring, metrics, dashboards, and observability solutions.\nExperience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases.\nPractical experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and production operations.\nStrong ownership, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Docker, AWS ECS, Kubernetes, or Amazon EKS.\nExperience integrating scientific, research, or algorithmic software into production environments.\nExperience with message brokers or streaming platforms (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka, Amazon SQS).\nExperience working in a fast-paced startup environment.\nInterest in quantum computing or other deep-technology domains.\nGeneral\nWe are located at the Science Park, by the Weizmann Institute, Israel.\nFull collaboration with the experimental & theoretical groups at the Weizmann Institute.\nInterested in this role?\nGet in touch or apply now.\n Apply hereWanted: Bright minds and bold spirits\nIf you are excellent and passionate about quantum computing and its ability to make the world a better place for all -
