This is a full-stack system engineering role, requiring deep expertise across multiple engineering domains and strong leadership throughout the entire system lifecycle.\nThe ideal candidate is a seasoned system engineer with extensive hands-on experience, strong methodological background, and proven leadership in complex system development and technical reviews.\nResponsibilities\nLead system engineering activities across the full product lifecycle - from concept and architecture definition through development, integration, verification, validation, and delivery.\nDefine and manage system requirements, interfaces, architecture, and trade studies.\nDevelop and implement system engineering methodologies, processes, and best practices.\nLead major technical reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.) and ensure readiness and compliance.\nCoordinate multidisciplinary teams including physics, hardware, electronics, opto-mechanics, control systems, and software.\nConduct risk management, system analysis, performance budgeting, and configuration control.\nSupport integration and verification activities for complex quantum physical systems.\nWork closely with R&D and product teams to ensure system robustness, scalability, and performance.\nRequirements and skills\nB.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electro-Optics Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.\nExtensive experience in system engineering roles across multiple projects.\nProven experience leading the development of complex multidisciplinary systems end-to-end.\nStrong knowledge of system engineering methodologies, processes, and lifecycle management.\nDemonstrated experience leading formal technical design reviews.\nBroad technical understanding across hardware, electronics, mechanics, control, and software domains.\nAbility to operate in deep-tech, research-driven environments.\nAdvantages\nExperience working within a System Engineering team.\nBackground in quantum physical systems or quantum technologies.\nM.Sc. in Systems Engineering or related field.\nGeneral\nWe are located at the Science Park, by the Weizmann institute.\nFull collaboration with the experimental & theoretical groups at the Weizmann Institute.\nInterested in this role?\nGet in touch or apply now.\n Apply hereWanted: Bright minds and bold spirits\nIf you are excellent and passionate about quantum computing and its ability to make the world a better place for all -
