This role involves conducting safety inspections, enforcing safety protocols, providing employee training, and ensuring adherence to OSHA and industry standards. The Safety Coordinator collaborates with project managers, engineers, and field personnel to maintain a culture of safety and reduce workplace risks.\nEssential Duties, Roles, Responsibilities & Procedures:\nSafety Inspections: Conduct regular site inspections to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.\nRegulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to OSHA, ANSI, and other industry safety regulations.\nSafety Training: Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and subcontractors.\nIncident Investigation: Investigate workplace accidents, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.\nHazard Identification & Mitigation: Proactively assess risks and implement mitigation strategies.\nPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE) Enforcement: Ensure proper use and availability of PPE.\nEmergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response procedures and conduct safety drills.\nDocumentation & Reporting: Maintain records of inspections, incidents, safety violations, and corrective actions.\nCollaboration: Work with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors to enforce safety measures.\nSafety Meetings: Conduct toolbox talks and regular safety meetings to reinforce safety policies.\nCommunication: Maintain clear communication with management and workers regarding safety updates and concerns.\nQualifications & Experience:\nEducation & Certifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.\nOSHA 30 certification required.\nCertified Safety Professional (CSP) or Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification is a plus.\n\nExperience:\nMinimum of 3+ years of experience in safety coordination, compliance, or construction safety.\n\nTechnical Skills:\nStrong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and workplace hazard prevention strategies.\nProficiency in safety audit software and compliance tracking tools.\nAbility to conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and training sessions.\n\nCompetencies & Behavioral Expectations:\nStrong problem-solving abilities to assess safety risks and implement corrective actions.\nExcellent communication and leadership skills to enforce safety protocols and train employees.\nAttention to detail and organizational skills to track safety compliance and maintain accurate records.\nCommitment to continuous safety improvements and fostering a culture of safety awareness.\nAbility to remain calm and act quickly in emergency situations.\nPhysical Requirements & Work Environment:\nPhysical Requirements:\nAbility to stand, walk, and conduct on-site safety inspections for extended periods.\nCapability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs. for handling safety equipment.\n\nWork Environment:\nPrimarily field-based, with frequent visits to construction sites and industrial facilities.\nExposure to outdoor conditions, loud noise levels, and industrial
