ambition and positivity, takes ownership, and collaborates effectively with remote teams to not only meet but exceed our objectives while addressing the evolving needs of our growing customer base.\nYou will design, build, and maintain backend services that power the control and orchestration systems at the core of our platform, including components that manage system configuration, health, and cluster operations across a distributed, networked environment.\nYou'll work across the stack to integrate with hardware-facing and embedded systems, collaborate with multiple teams to support installation and setup of software components on our products, and help ensure our systems are reliable, observable, and easy to operate.\nThe role involves owning features end-to-end, from design through implementation, while working closely with engineers across sites and disciplines.\nLocation: Germany (3 days from the office, 2 days hybrid)\nRequirements\n5+ years of experience in backend development.\nProficient in at least one of Go, Python, or Kotlin, with a willingness to learn the others.\nComfortable working in a Linux environment and managing configuration with Ansible.\nExperience with inter-process communication over network protocols (TCP/UDP, gRPC, REST) on Linux, including debugging connectivity and latency issues.\nProven track record in the full software development lifecycle: from requirements engineering and design to development and testing.\nPassionate about technology and able to dive into new technologies quickly.\nStrong engineering capabilities with the ability to work independently.\nCapable of executing under uncertainty in a dynamic environment.\nEnjoy working in a cross-geography, multi-site environment.\nExcellent verbal
