In this role, you will design, develop, maintain, and update training solutions supporting Marine Corps ITSM processes and BMC Remedy/Helix functionality.\nYou will work closely with the training team, customer stakeholders, and technical subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure training materials remain current as ITSM processes, workflows, and system capabilities evolve.\nResponsibilities:\nTraining Development\nDesign and develop interactive computer-based courseware for technical and end-user training.\nConvert complex technical information, workflows, and requirements into clear instructional content.\nDevelop storyboards, flow diagrams, scenarios, simulations, and supporting training materials.\nCreate and update CBTs, JIT videos, QRGs, and Job Aids.\nEnsure training products remain aligned with current BMC Remedy/Helix functionality and USMC ITSM processes.\nStakeholder and SME Collaboration\nWork directly with technical SMEs and customer stakeholders to understand system changes, process updates, and new training requirements.\nValidate the technical accuracy and usability of instructional content.\nParticipate in reviews, demonstrations, and working sessions with program and customer teams.\nTraining Environment Support\nSupport validation of training environments against production configurations.\nCoordinate with technical teams to test training procedures and system workflows.\nHelp ensure courseware remains synchronized with system releases and configuration changes.\nProject and Quality Support\nDevelop work plans, schedules, estimates, and status updates for assigned training activities.\nTrack assigned deliverables through completion and provide input to weekly and monthly program reporting.\nParticipate in peer reviews and quality checks of training products.\nMaintain consistency with established style, quality, and instructional-design standards.\nMaintain training records and documentation supporting CMMI and internal quality processes.\nTraining products include:\nSCORM 2004-compliant Computer-Based Training (CBT) modules developed using the Marine Corps Systems Approach to Training (SAT) methodology and ADDIE model.\nJust-in-Time (JIT) training videos covering core CBT and system functionality.\nQuick Reference Guides (QRGs), Job Aids, and other end-user support materials.\nQualifications\nRequired:\n5+ years of applicable instructional-design, training-development, or technical-training experience.\nA. or B.S. degree in Instructional Design, Business, Organizational Development, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.\nExperience developing technical training for government, DoD, or large enterprise environments.\nProven experience using Adobe Captivate and Adobe editing tools, including Audition, and the Microsoft Office suite.\nITIL 4 Foundation certification and strong operational knowledge of the ITIL framework.\nExperience developing SCORM-compliant eLearning materials.\nAbility to quickly learn technical software platforms and translate system functionality into effective user training.\nStrong written communication, editing, facilitation, and organizational skills.\nExperience developing branched learning scenarios, simulations, and interactive training.\nExperience working with SMEs to validate technical content.\nFamiliarity with training environments, software releases, testing, and configuration changes.\nAdobe Captivate and/or Articulate 360 experience.\nDesired:\nExperience with BMC Remedy, BMC Helix, ServiceNow, or another enterprise ITSM platform.\nExperience supporting USMC or DoD ITSM environments.\nFamiliarity with Marine Corps SAT / ADDIE methodology.\nExperience developing training for software migrations or major system modernization efforts.\nExperience with AI-enabled content development, knowledge management, or training automation.\nMaster's degree in Instructional Design, Business Administration, or a related discipline.\nCertified Technical Trainer (CTT+) or another relevant industry training certification.\nClearance:\nActive Secret clearance required.\nLocation:\nThe work location will be remote with some potential limited travel to Quantico, Virginia, as required.\nAbout Quantum Sky\nCompensation:\nCompensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $86,000-$135,000.
