This role is responsible for deployment support, break-fix work, hardware handling, ticket resolution, and direct coordination with engineering and operations teams. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on technical ability, responsiveness, and a customer-focused approach to problem resolution in a secure environment. This role serves as the execution layer closest to the equipment and the user. This position focuses on deployment preparation and operational support.\nResponsibilities:\nPerform installation, integration, cabling, hardware swaps, and physical support tasks\nTroubleshoot break-fix incidents and restore services as quickly as possible\nSupport tickets, service requests, and field issues through closure\nValidate equipment functionality and document support actions taken\nCoordinate with systems, network, automation, and logistics teams during deployments and sustainment\nMaintain tools, spares, parts, and support readiness as required\nFollow site procedures, escalation paths, and change practices\nProvide direct customer-facing support in operational settings\nRequired qualifications\nExperience in field engineering, integration support, break-fix, deployment, or technical support roles\nStrong hands-on troubleshooting skills across hardware and infrastructure components\nExperience with ticket-based workflows and service response expectations\nAbility to work onsite and support physically active technical tasks\nStrong communication and team coordination skills\nActive TS/SCI and ability to maintain access as required by the program\nCandidates must be able to lift up to 25lbs. \nQualifications\nDesired:\nExperience in data center, lab, or secure facility support environments\nExperience with imaging, build, rack-and-stack, or cable management activities\nExperience supporting shift work, travel, or after-hours response as needed\nFamiliarity with spare parts control, asset handling, and escalation coordination\nExperience supporting government or classified programs\nClearance: Active Top Secret w/ SCI Eligibility\nLocation: On-site in Chantilly, Virginia\nAbout Quantum Sky\nCompensation:\nCompensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $120,000- $140,000.
