As a key member of the Networking team, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing robust and efficient network infrastructure solutions for our data center environments.\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain cutting edge and complex Layer 2/3 data center architectures using BGP, ECMP, VxLAN, MCLAG, Spine/Leaf topologies, RoCEv2, and other related technologies. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective network solutions. \nProvide expert guidance and support to junior team members, assisting them in their professional growth and development. \nStay updated on the latest networking trends and best practices; proactively seek out new learning opportunities to enhance technical expertise. \nContribute to the documentation of network infrastructure designs and configurations for future reference and knowledge sharing among team members. \nTravel up to 20% of the time, as required, to perform on-site installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities at customer sites or data centers. \nQualifications\nRequired:\nProven experience in designing, configuring, and managing complex BGP, VxLAN and Layer 2/3 Data Center architectures. \nExpertise in designing and troubleshooting complex L2/L3 topologies.\nExperience with redundancy protocols such as MCLAG (Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation Group) or LACP. \nExperience with Spine-Leaf data center fabrics, architecture design, and implementation. \nAbility and willingness to become skilled at troubleshooting, designing, and monitoring RDMA over Converged Ethernet (RoCEv2) supporting ultra high-speed data transfers.\nExcellent communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. \nAbility to travel up to 20% of the time (domestic and international) as required. \nStrong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality work. \nAbility to stay updated on industry trends and technology advancements; willingness to continue learning new things. \nLinux-Based NOS (Network Operating System) experience preferred.\nClearance:\nActive TS/SCI clearance with Counterintelligence polygraph \nHave current IAM Level II to satisfy DOD 8570 IAT requirements \nLocation:\nOnsite, McLean, VA\nAbout Quantum Sky\nCompensation:\nCompensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $230,000-$250,000.
