The candidate will be assigned to a National Systems ISP/ASP program within our government services product line to help create, deploy, and support an element of the customer’s Future Ground Architecture and Infrastructure Service Provider platform.\nResponsibilities:\nThe role involves ensuring continuity of operations across six data center sites and one test site using High Availability technologies.\nThe candidate will support server processing and virtualization needs for multiple Active Directory domains, lead large-scale migrations from legacy to standardized environments, and support Operations and Maintenance, Post Deployment, and Integration of new technology.\n Responsibilities include collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, creating technical work products, evaluating customer change requests, engaging with customer and third-party operations, and presenting status and plans at customer change board meetings.\nThis full-time position may require overtime to meet key deadlines.\n\nQualifications\nRequired:\n5-7 years of experience with SAN and NAS storage systems\nB.S./B.A. in Aerospace Engineering, Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or Math with 5-7 years of relevant work experience\nExperience in ISP/ASP compute, network, and storage environments\nSystems engineering experience on a large government cloud deployment contract\nDemonstrated judgment in managing competing priorities to meet program objectives\nExperience in identifying risks and establishing effective mitigation and contingency plans\nExperience with Hitachi, Dell EMC, SGI, and NetApp storage environments\nExperience with fiber channel storage switching fabric and Ethernet storage network systems\nExperience with VMware and Windows support\nExperience with large-scale VMware storage configurations, including design, deployment, and maintenance\nExperience with Veritas NetBackup 8.0\nKnowledge of backup systems and server technologies related to archive and storage\nAbility to interface with program and company leadership, customers, and end users\nWillingness to work overtime to meet key deadlines and lead team efforts\nExperience in Computer Network and Systems Administration domains\nAbility to collaborate with partners to define computing requirements and create end-to-end solutions\nProficiency in integrating and solving complex infrastructure problems\nExperience ensuring high reliability and performance through systems monitoring and infrastructure management\nAbility to respond to and use an online ticketing system for user service requests\nExperience ensuring server and application compliance with security and performance requirements (NISPOM, RMF/DISA)\nAbility to convert and upgrade older infrastructure to new technologies\nProficiency in developing, revising, and maintaining technical and operational documentation\nOpportunity to grow technical competence in areas such as SAN, NAS, Backups, Windows, Linux, virtualization, User Authentication, DNS, NFS, and system imaging/build automation\nExperience mentoring and sharing knowledge to improve team performance\nMust have a current CompTIA Security+ CE or IAT Level II certification\nClearance:\nActive and in-scope United States TS/SCI with CI polygraph security clearance\nQualified applicants may be subject to a security investigation and must meet minimum qualifications for access to classified information\nLocation:\nDulles, VA\nAbout Quantum Sky\nCompensation:\nCompensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $170,000-$180,000.
