The position performs complex assignments involving responsibility for planning and conducting a complete project of relatively limited scope or a portion of a larger and more diverse project, selects and adapts plans, techniques, or layouts, contacts personnel in related activities to resolve problems and coordinate the work, reviews, analyzes, and integrates the technical work of others.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop Installation Design Plans (IDPs) and Base Electronic Systems Engineering Plans (BESEPs). \nReview system and error logs for any problem indications. \nPhysical inspection of access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection devices to insure full functionality and proper alignment. \nTest access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection devices to verify proper operation. \nTest backup battery systems. \nInstallation of access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection equipment in accordance with plans, specifications, and detailed instructions, or reinstalling repaired or modified equipment. \nRepair of access control, video surveillance and intrusion detection devices to include detecting and diagnosing malfunctions, tearing down equipment, repairing or replacing parts or components, or aligning, calibrating and testing the modified or repaired equipment. \nPreventive and corrective maintenance to keep equipment and systems in maximum operating condition. \nFault isolation, repair, and testing of complex level problems. \nCONUS and OCONUS travel to effect installation and maintenance activity \nQualifications\nRequired:\nBaccalaureate Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and seven (7) years’ experience OR High School diploma with 10 years of electronic security installation experience. \nFive (5) years of installation experience with access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection and physical security systems to include gates, vehicle barriers and turnstiles. \nHands-on installation, troubleshooting, or repair experience with either Lenel or Milestone systems.\nACS/IDS installation, troubleshooting, and configuration experience with Lenel as the core access-control system\nMilestone troubleshooting and configuration experience, specifically working with AXIS cameras as the primary imaging devices\nA minimum three (3) experience in the development of Installation and Engineering Design Plans.\nExperience programming and configuring Access Control solutions. \nExperience programming and configuring Video Management Systems (VMS). \nCompTIA Security + Certification.\nLenel Certified Expert (LCE) is a plus\nClearance:\nActive TS with SCI Eligibility\nAbout Quantum Sky\nCompensation:\nCompensation is unique to each candidate and relative to the skills and experience they bring to the position. The salary range for this position is typically between $170,000-$180,000.
