Our high-mobility spacecraft platforms support national security, civil, and commercial missions with unmatched flexibility and propulsion capability. We build fast and iterate quickly.\nWho We’re Looking For\nWe are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Production Coordinator to support the build, integration, and delivery of our Ranger spacecraft platform. In this role, you will help keep production operations running efficiently by coordinating the movement of parts, materials, documentation, and production activities across multiple teams.\nYou will work at the intersection of manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, engineering, inventory management, and production planning-ensuring the right hardware is in the right place at the right time, supported by accurate data, documentation, and material traceability.\nYou will play a key role in maintaining production schedules, identifying and resolving workflow constraints, and supporting the efficient movement of flight hardware from receiving through integration and test. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on manufacturing environment, takes ownership of details, and enjoys working across teams to keep mission-critical programs moving forward.\nWhere You’ll Make an Impact\nMonitor, track, and coordinate the movement of parts and materials throughout the production lifecycle to ensure timely delivery to the appropriate work centers and production locations\nFacilitate the physical movement of hardware through receiving inspection, inventory, purchasing, production, and other applicable work centers\nIdentify workflow bottlenecks, improve process consistency, and help reduce internal logistics lead times\nCoordinate external processing activities, including machining, plating, testing, and other outside services, to ensure materials return on schedule\nCollaborate with production planning, procurement, engineering, and manufacturing teams to maintain accurate and reliable MRP/ERP system data\nIdentify and help resolve inaccurate inventory records, material demand signals, scheduling discrepancies, and other system issues that could disrupt production\nDevelop, maintain, and update production metrics, dashboards, and reports to support operational visibility and continuous improvement\nPartner with production supervisors and managers to track and close metrics-driven action items and resolve production constraints\nPrepare reports highlighting production requirements, deliverables, material availability, schedule risks, and operational constraints for internal teams and customers\nSupport production leadership and program management teams with action item tracking, status updates, and cross-functional coordination\nCoordinate material staging, kitting, and workflow organization to improve production readiness and efficiency\nMaintain material certifications, traceability documentation, and inventory controls to ensure only properly certified materials are used in flight hardware\nSupport production and inventory teams with return-to-stock activities, inventory reconciliation, and material disposition or purge actions\nAssist with purchase requisition creation and coordination of scheduled contract work and outside services\nOrganize and maintain physical and electronic production tooling records, documentation libraries, and calibration databases\nSupport work order creation, tracking, updates, and closure for assigned production cells\nParticipate in production process improvements and productivity initiatives to improve material flow, operational efficiency, and schedule performance\nHelp establish disciplined production coordination processes that enable Quantum Space to move quickly without compromising quality, traceability, or mission assurance\nWhat It Takes\nHigh school diploma or equivalent\n1+ year of experience in production support, manufacturing coordination, logistics, inventory management, administrative operations, or a related role\nStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously\nAbility to coordinate materials, documentation, and production activities across multiple departments and work centers\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and other productivity tools\nExperience maintaining accurate records, organizing documentation, and tracking operational activities\nStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with production personnel, engineers, procurement teams, and management\nAbility to identify discrepancies, troubleshoot operational issues, and proactively follow through on action items\nComfortable working in a hands-on manufacturing or production environment and supporting the physical movement of materials and hardware\nAbility to work independently, take ownership of assigned responsibilities, and adapt to shifting production priorities\nStrong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced, iterative environment where production schedules and priorities evolve quickly\nNice-to-Have Experience\n3+ years of experience supporting manufacturing operations, production control, logistics coordination, or departmental administration\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field\nExperience working with Material Requirements Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems\nExperience in aerospace, defense, automotive, semiconductor, electronics, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments\nFamiliarity with spacecraft or flight hardware manufacturing, assembly, integration, and test operations\nExperience managing material certifications, part traceability, manufacturing records, and configuration-controlled documentation\nKnowledge of inventory management, production scheduling, work order management, and material flow processes\nExperience coordinating outside processing, supplier deliveries, and procurement activities\nExperience developing production reports, tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), and supporting metrics-driven operational improvements\nFamiliarity with SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or similar data analysis and reporting tools\nAPICS/ASCM certification, such as Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) or Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)\nFamiliarity with production tooling management, calibration tracking, and manufacturing documentation systems\nExperience supporting lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or production efficiency initiatives\nExperience working in a startup or small-team environment where flexibility, initiative, and cross-functional collaboration are essential\nWhat You’ll Get\nOwnership - Take responsibility for coordinating critical production activities and ensuring materials, documentation, and work orders are ready to support spacecraft manufacturing\nInnovation - Support the development and production of advanced spacecraft technologies enabling next-generation space mobility, maneuverability, and defense missions\nImpact - Play a direct role in keeping spacecraft production on schedule and ensuring mission-critical flight hardware moves efficiently from receiving through integration and test\nGrowth - Build broad operational expertise across aerospace manufacturing, supply chain, production planning, inventory management, and spacecraft integration while working alongside a multidisciplinary engineering team\nMission Exposure - Gain hands-on experience supporting the spacecraft production lifecycle, from initial hardware procurement and receiving through assembly, integration, testing, and launch readiness\nCompensation - Competitive salary, equity, and
