A Business Analyst (BA) plays a crucial role in an organization by analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and recommending solutions to enhance efficiency and achieve business objectives. The job description for a Business Analyst may vary depending on the industry and specific organizational needs, but generally includes the following responsibilities and qualifications:
Responsibilities:- Requirements Gathering:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and document business needs, objectives, and requirements.
Conduct interviews, surveys, and workshops to collect and analyze information.
Document and model existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
Design and propose optimized processes that align with organizational goals.
- Documentation:
Prepare detailed and clear documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process flows.

- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master's degree or relevant certifications can be advantageous.
- 5+ Years as a seasoned business analyst working on Enterprise Software Implementation projects
- Experience with IBM TRIRIGA and has exposure to IBM TRIRIGA Facilities Condition Assessment Model Highly Preferred
- Analytical Skills:: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with business analysis tools, data modeling, and project management methodologies. Knowledge of relevant programming languages and databases is often beneficial.
- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of the industry and business domain in which the organization operates.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and build positive relationships with stakeholders.
- Adaptability:Flexibility to adapt to changing business priorities and project requirements.
- Problem-Solving: Proven ability to identify and solve complex business problems.
