Summary:

The Trading Product Owner will be asked to oversee the performance, application and development of systems within the Sportsbook area. The person must be technically detailed and analytical regarding system capability, Trading activity and development roadmaps. The Trading Product Owner will research and determine Trading needs to determine which features to include on products and will pitch ideas for product features to stakeholders, thereafter acting as the primary contact between the scrum teams, product development departments and stakeholders. The role requires a professional employee who can work with system users and lay persons, managers and staff to get the best outcome for the business.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with prospective users and clients to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product requirements.

  • Be aware of all global Sports Product related roll outs/releases of new processes and assist testing to ensure results meet with pre-determined criteria prior to going fully live.

  • Establish strong relationship with the product and engineering team and assist in design and development of requirements.

  • Drive forward Automation initiatives with both product and engineering team and internal AI solutions

  • Be aware of the product backlog and assist in prioritizing them based on changing requirements.

  • Provide support for multiple departments on issues and processes relating to gaming products and providers.

  • Work with external resource providers such as DGS, LF and future 3rd party odds/data providers to define Sportsbook needs and hold service providers accountable for delivery as required.

  • Work with FeedsCo to assist in testing and delivery of Sierra feed sources and Sierra platform.

  • Manage the configuration of odds provider consoles.

  • As allowed by organizational structure, participate in Scrum meetings and product sprints.

  • Work closely with Sports IDG and Sports Interactions leaders to ensure information is shared and assistance is available when needed.

  • Create and maintain documentation that can be used to train Traders on the optimal function of systems, delivering such training to new staff and when otherwise needed.

  • Assist all teams with best practice and use of systems, including but not limited to use of mapping and templates.

  • Any other tasks required by Management, including but not limited to areas they wish to be studied and analyzed.

Requirements

  • Strong planning and organization skills including ability to track and manage changes.

  • Ability to work on multiple projects at a time.

  • Ability to develop and successfully manage multiple relationships with multiple senior stakeholders.

  • Ability to prioritize effectively.

  • Prior experience in a trading role and a familiarity with global sports landscape required.

  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate a strong working knowledge of all Sportsbook systems.
