The role ensures urgent and routine material requirements are controlled accurately, safely and on time, while maintaining reliable inventory records, compliant documentation and clear communication with supply chain stakeholders.\nRoster: 14 days on / 14 days off\nEmployment type: Full time - accepting both Local and FIFO applicants.\nSPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES\nRequests, priorities and stakeholder coordination\nMonitor and respond to material requests, including break-ins, breakdowns and urgent after-hours requirements.\nCoordinate material requests and inventory enquiries with customers, vendors, contractors and supply chain stakeholders.\nAct as the primary Hub contact for vendors attending inspections.\nCommunicate proactively so customer requirements, priorities and exceptions are understood and progressed.\nInventory control and system transactions\nReceipt goods, allocate spares to stock locations and maintain accurate inventory records.\nUpdate material locations in SAP and cross-reference Stock on Hand (SOH) against I-Auditor reports.\nComplete stock counts and cycle counts within required timeframes.\nIdentify, report and correct material discrepancies and inventory-location issues.\nMaintain specialist knowledge of inventory management systems and processes, and expedite inventory queries.\nOutbound, transport and transfer processing\nPick and stage material requirements in designated outbound bays.\nIssue daily picks and confirm picks are completed and staged.\nCreate consignment notes and update the Transport Schedule, Belt Log and Transport Plan.\nComplete transfers once proof of delivery (POD) is received.\nMonitor and rectify inbound and outbound Chain of Responsibility (CoR) non-conformance events to support safe material movement and load-restraint best practice.\nControls, records and reporting\nComplete the daily minimum Standard Operating Tasks (STOs) and process STO requirements.\nMaintain the Excel register, including relevant MO numbers, dates and status information.\nComplete required I-Auditor forms and establish orderly document filing for compliance records.\nMaintain KPI reports and update OSR Purchase Request pricing when required.\nDevelop, implement and maintain accurate procedures and policies relevant to the role.\nTeam capability and operational support\nTrain and coach warehouse officers in inventory systems and material-management processes.\nEncourage team members to take ownership of the end-to-end process and share knowledge across the team.\nUndertake preservation and maintenance activities as directed by RTIO.\nOperate a reach stacker and perform dogman and basic rigging duties when required and authorised.\nDecision-making and escalation\nPrioritise competing routine and urgent material requirements within approved processes.\nEscalate safety risks, inventory discrepancies, system issues, service delays and non-conformances to the appropriate supervisor or manager.\nStop work where there is imminent danger or where the task cannot be completed safely or within required controls.\nQualifications and Skills\nEssential\nCurrent Australian Driver’s Licence (Car)\nCurrent Forklift Licence (LF)\nReach stacker licence\nChain of Responsibility qualification\nDogman licence\nBasic rigging licence\nLoad Restraint training\nExperience and systems\nAt least three years’ experience in a similar role\nExperience using inventory management systems\nSpecialised systems knowledge\nComputer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office\nDesirable\nCertificate III or IV in Warehouse Operations\nWhy QUBE?\nAt Qube, we recognise that our people are our most important asset and are the engine that drives our organisation, playing a vital role in ensuring our business achieve our objectives and deliver on our commitments.
