Exposure to many aspects of DB projects, including but not limited to Administration, Always-on/High Availability, Capacity-Planning, Data Warehouse, DB design, etc.\nWhat you will do:\nWork closely with users from all parts of business to define and resolve information flow and content issues\nEnable and support the transformation of business requirements into database solutions\nDesign and develop robust cutting edge systems to keep QRT business at the forefront of its field\nRequirements\n5 years + experience in production database administration. At least 2 of the following: SQL-Server, PostgreSQL and Oracle is essential.\nExperience in database administration within a production environment, at least 2 of the following: PostgreSQL, SQL-Server, and NoSQL\nGood understanding of DB monitoring, analysis, disaster recovery, and performance tuning \nExperience in one or more database programming languages (SQL, T-SQL, PSQL etc.) and BI services (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS)\nExperience managing security and permissions\nExperience in scripting in Powershell/Shell script, python would be a plus\nExperience in cloud DB admin would be a plus\nKnowledge of industry best practices \nOrganized with a proactive approach to work, team player; ability to work under pressure, with excellent time management skills\nQRT is an equal opportunity employer.
