The team supports large-scale routing infrastructure and collaborates closely with stakeholders across operations, systems engineering, and automation to ensure robust connectivity for global research and trading activities. \nYour Future Role within QRT \nOperate, troubleshoot, and enhance large-scale WAN environments to ensure availability and performance. \nDesign, implement, and support MPLS-based solutions\nConfigure and maintain routing services across multiple BGP address families.\nDesign, implement, and troubleshoot multicast services using technologies such as MVPN. \nAnalyse and validate MPLS label operations and end-to-end forwarding behaviour. \nSupport TCP/IP-based services and traffic flows across a multi-site network footprint. \nProduce and maintain accurate technical documentation, including design artefacts and operational procedures. \nCollaborate with engineering and operations stakeholders to progress projects and BAU activities. \nAct as an escalation point for complex network issues requiring deep technical investigation. \nYour Present Skillset \nStrong operational experience with MPLS environments.\nDeep knowledge of: \nBGP (including EVPN, VPNv4, IPv4) \nMPLS forwarding and label distribution \nMulticast and MVPN \nProficiency with at least one major routing platform (e.g., Arista, Cisco). \nProven ability to troubleshoot complex MPLS, routing, and forwarding behaviour. \nStrong understanding of TCP/IP networking, QoS, routing protocols, and traffic engineering concepts. \nExperience working in environments with strict availability and reliability requirements. \nUseful additional experience includes: \nNetwork automation (e.g., Python) \nModel-driven networking \nCI/CD concepts applied to network configuration \nTelemetry and streaming-based monitoring approaches \nQRT is an equal opportunity employer.
