This team is critical in ensuring that applications are built on a strong AWS foundation from the perspective of governance, security and connectivity.\nYour future role within QRT\nWe are seeking a Network Operations Engineer to support the ongoing operation, scalability and continuous improvement of our global AWS network.\nThis role focuses on implementing change safely and consistently at scale, improving automation, and providing operational support to internal stakeholders. You will work closely with senior engineers, application teams, security and IT to ensure reliable, well-governed and observable network services in a production-sensitive environment.\nThe role is expected to involve the following activities:\nImplement changes across our global AWS network using Infrastructure-as-Code\nMaintain and enhance Terraform modules to ensure scalable, repeatable and consistent network deployments\nDevelop and maintain automation tooling using Python and Bash\nExecute controlled changes via CI/CD pipelines with appropriate validation and peer review\nAssess and manage the risk associated with network changes, ensuring appropriate testing, impact analysis and rollback strategies are in place\nSupport and resolve network-related tickets raised by internal stakeholders in a timely and professional manner\nTroubleshoot connectivity and configuration issues within AWS environments using both native and third-party tooling\nContribute to operational documentation, runbooks and continuous process improvement\nThis role offers strong growth opportunities into deeper cloud networking, platform engineering and automation.\nYour present skillset\n2-4 years of experience in a cloud, infrastructure or network operations engineering role\nGood understanding of networking fundamentals including IPv4, DNS, TCP/UDP and routing concepts\nPractical experience with AWS networking services such as VPC, Transit Gateway and Route53\nHands-on experience using Infrastructure-as-Code, ideally Terraform\nExperience developing automation using Python and/or Bash\nAbility to troubleshoot issues methodically and independently within production environments\nStrong awareness of production risk and high-availability considerations\nExperience handling tickets and communicating effectively with internal customers\nComfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment\nDesirable experienceExperience operating AWS networking at scale across multiple environments or region\nFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows\nExposure to IP address management tooling such as AWS VPC IPAM or Infoblox\nLoad balancing technologies (ALB, NLB)\nLogging and observability tooling (CloudWatch, Grafana)\nExposure to newer AWS networking services such as VPC Lattice \n\nQRT is an equal opportunity employer.
