As Network Operations Lead for EMEA and America, you will combine hands-on technical leadership with people management, working with engineers, connectivity providers and business stakeholders to maintain reliable services and improve operational performance. \nYour future role within QRT: \nRegional Team Leadership \nLead, manage, and develop the regional Network Operations team. \nProvide day-to-day management, giving technical and process guidance to engineers. \nEnsure appropriate regional coverage, handover quality, rota management, and operational readiness. \nBuild a culture of ownership, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. \nAct as the regional escalation point for operational issues, people matters, and service risks. \nSupport hiring, onboarding, training and development of regional Network Operations engineers as the team expands. \nOwn regional vendor and connectivity-provider escalation processes, ensuring outages, RFOs, recurring issues and service-performance concerns are reviewed and driven to improvement. \n Global Collaboration \nWork closely with the Global Network Operations Lead and peer Regional Lead to ensure consistent global standards. \nSupport follow-the-sun operational processes across APAC, EMEA, and other regions. \nRepresent regional Network Operations in meetings with Infrastructure, Engineering, Trading, Security, and other internal teams. \nEnsure regional issues, risks, resourcing needs, and service improvements are clearly communicated to global leadership. \nOperational Oversight \nLead regional response for network incidents, ensuring timely escalation, coordination, and stakeholder communication. \nBe accountable for the quality, timeliness and effectiveness of regional incident triage, escalation, resolution and prevention. \nSupport engineers during complex or high-priority incidents, coordinating with SMEs, vendors, and global teams as required \nManage operational BAU activities and out-of-hours network changes \nReview service performance and identify opportunities to improve operational processes, tooling and provider performance \nMaintain operational discipline around ticket quality, change controls, incident updates, and documentation. \nReliability, Monitoring and Automation \nDrive modern monitoring techniques and tooling to detect, investigate, and respond to incidents quickly. \nPromote proactive detection of potential incidents through monitoring, alert review, trend analysis, and service health reporting. \nIdentify opportunities to improve alert quality, reduce noise, automate repetitive tasks, and improve operational efficiency. \nWork with the team as well as engineering and automation teams to mature Network Operations practices. \nEstablish and maintain clear SLIs, SLOs and operational KPIs for network services, using them to drive prioritisation, risk reduction and continuous improvement. \nMaintain and improve runbooks, knowledge articles, troubleshooting guides and operational documentation to enable faster and more consistent incident resolution. \nYour Present Skillset \nExperience leading or supervising a Network Operations, NOC, infrastructure support, or similar technical operations team. \nStrong people-management skills, including coaching, performance management, workload planning, and team development. \nAbility to lead during high-pressure incidents and coordinate across multiple technical teams. \nStrong stakeholder-management and communication skills. \nExperience managing operational rotas, handovers, escalations, and out-of-hours support models. \nComfortable working in a global, follow-the-sun environment. \nExperience supporting complex environments such as low-latency trading, high-performance compute, global WAN, or other business-critical infrastructure. \nA networking background supported by relevant certifications, academic qualifications or equivalent practical experience \nWorking Pattern: \nThis role operates within a global Network Operations team.
