This permanent role suits candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy supporting multiple technology domains (Trading Tools or Market Access), and are driven by operational excellence and technical innovation.\n Key Responsibilities\n Production Support (50%)\nProvide user and system support across multiple technology streams.\nMonitor, maintain and troubleshoot production systems, with a focus on data platforms and trading infrastructure.\nRespond to incidents and service requests, diagnosing issues affecting data flows, trading applications and related systems.\nPerform daily health checks of trading and data systems before market open.\nManage and maintain static and dynamic databases, including resolving data integrity issues.\nWork with development and business teams to resolve pre-trade issues and implement improvements.\nSupport application releases, including deployment, validation and rollback procedures.\nMaintain operational documentation and ensure adherence to internal controls and best practices.\nParticipate in root cause analysis and collaborate with global teams to resolve complex incidents.\nProvide out-of-hours support when required.\nDevelopment & Automation (50%)\nDevelop automation tools to improve operational workflows.\nBuild scripts and applications for monitoring, alerting, data quality checks and recovery processes.\nContribute to initiatives involving cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines and system optimisation.\nRequired Skills & Experience\n3+ years’ experience in technical support, ideally within trading or market access environments.\nScripting experience in Python, Bash or PowerShell.\nExperience with Windows and Linux administration.\nStrong relational database knowledge (SQL Server, PostgreSQL).\nExperience supporting trading systems or financial market infrastructure.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills with a strong sense of ownership.\nPreferred Attributes\nInterest in supporting diverse technology areas and learning new domains.\nAbility to work independently and within global teams.\nProactive approach to automation and process improvement.\nExperience with AWS or other cloud platforms.\nExposure to crypto assets or crypto markets.\nQRT is an equal opportunity employer.
